Agreeeeeed.

I’m gonna be so salty when Netflix cancels GLOW. Ugh.

Magnolia is the longest film I love and would cut nothing from despite my general position that basically every film would benefit from a judicious 15 minute cut. But, having seen them parceled out like this, I realise in retrospect that Julianne Moore’s through line is my least favourite. Frank is absolutely the

I used to be crushed there was never more Clone High, but as time has gone on, I've just become grateful it existed for one perfect, ephemeral season, ending on a never to be resolved cliff hanger in a meat locker, forever, and that's OK. Like Freaks and Geeks, it's brevity has kind of made it a better encapsulation

Seeing Kendall’s big play crumble was a biiig moment in establishing what kind of show this is, but boy, you really thought he had it for a minute there. Kendall’s trajectory from here is really where my position shifted on him - it’s hard not to root for him, somehow.

Yup, he really is.

I’d forgotten about the small moment of Roman’s disdain for the dancers, it’s a neatly insightful note that none of the Roy’s are really capable of that sort of expression despite their hold over media.

I really like the bits of the relationship between Shiv and Roman we see in this episode. We don’t get too much time with the two of them as the season goes on.

Cousin Greg is going to end up running this whole operation by the end, like a less benign Bighead from Silicon Valley.

Poor Kendall ended up being my favourite (in as much as you can have a favourite on a show with so many terrible people) of the siblings after a really poor first impression. I pitied him and sort of rooted for him in equal measure by the end.

I’m so pleased to see this show getting some coverage ahead of the second season. I checked it out because I’m a fan of Armstrong, and whilst it took a few episodes to really find its feet, it was easily my favourite show of last year. That finale is really something.

So when you say ‘actual actors’ last season, what you mean was ‘every white character’ from last season?

I know it came out like 5 seconds ago, but for me, Aggretsuko has to make the list. It should be a silly little cartoon about a cartoon fox who works in an office blowing off steam by singing death metal kareoke.

Legends of To-Meow Meow alone should get that show a spot on a best-of list. It had everything! 80's reboots! People becoming cats! Three Constantines! Constantine going mad because he remembers multiple timelines! A puppet reboot! A gay, interracial kiss that rescued time and space!

Aww man, I hope Constantine is still on Legends for this. I just want everyone to react to him.

Sephiroth still sounds like George Newbern to me, but Cloud doesn't sound like Burton.

Gibbering Mouther, dude.

And has its own recaps you can be commenting on!

Really? That's the first I've ever heard of it.

Me too!
