And this is why I get a receipt every single time I get gas. Like fuck I’m gonna be on the hook for engine repairs because the filling station put the wrong fuel in the wrong tank.

Very true, but also my point, they can’t rely on fleet sales to carry the model and consumers won’t buy a stripper. Besides, a base 2wd f150 is still almost 40k cad. That’s fucking obscene.

You should probably look at a map.

They will. But you shouldn’t. The mustang, however, which is the hotter tune, recommends 91. Which is what I was talking about.

In black, or in slightly darker black?

Yes, but the Ecoboost loves a tune. I’m sure you’re right though, so it can run on 89. Not many people will buy a ranger and want to put 91 in it.

They’ve already confirmed a raptor trim. It’s just whether it comes to north America. And it’s not “supposed to be a small workhorse” it’s just a not-fullsized truck for those of us who don’t want to drive a full size. They would be stupid to only release a bare bones model. They can’t even sell bare bones f150s.

As opposed to having a bumper skin that is mounted to the body like the global ranger or any number of SUVs. I think the implications is that it will be a visible and separate like an f150, but that would require you to put aside pedantics for just a minute to figure out.

The whole no studs in Michigan thing is quite annoying if you live in Ontario and cross-border shop.

And that’s why the lovely, responsible hoonigans place a headphone warning at the beginning of the video.

Also remember; as technicians, we are not only professional mechanics who know what we’re looking at, we work almost exclusively on a small set of cars as dealership techs so we can spot stuff that isn’t factory, and we’re generally not stupid.

This needs all the stars. You get it. You understand.

Lack of buyers wasn’t the issue for the ranger.

Yep, I’m buying one if they come to north America

Same reason they offer an F150 with p-tires on it. Fuel economy ratings. Ford and Dodge have always had large wheel openings on their trucks. I’m guessing they don’t want to show all their cards, but I can’t see an FX4 actually coming with tires like that when it’s released.

Those wheel wells are just begging for some meatier tires. If the stockers are around a 31" it looks like you might be able to squeeze 35"s in at a low ride height. 33"s would be a piece of cake. Nutty.

Forgot diesel fuel. Which gels below freezing if not a winter blend. Very common issue.

Awesome. Have a star.

So I guess you don’t know how a glow plug system or a diesel works.

We should try to organize a local jalopnik cars and coffee.
