They sound scared. And they should be. Most of those points are weak at best. The wrangler is a more than competent machine, with a lot of brand cache, but the Bronco is a great second offering in the market and a lot of those points sounded like a desperate child trying to prove that they're cool too.

Awesome, so instead of an $80 registration, you can pay hundreds for one that will fail and need to be replaced. Torch, you're a man of brilliance, but this is a bit too Rube Goldberg for a number card.

Deleting a dpf or scr isn't quite as straight forward as ignoring the cel. There are drivability issues and derate concerns with diesels that need to be programmed out or the vehicle will cripple itself.

Egr systems are still prone to chronic failure, and dpfs still cost mileage, and scr systems are still hugely prone to failure and don't handle cold well.

As long as they don't twist the ECM programming so tight that deleting is damn near impossible. The gains in mileage and performance with a clean, reasonable tune are seriously significant. You don't need to want to roll coal to want the benefits of deleting some of the emissions equipment.

Well I wouldn't expect an indefinite stay or anything. But as outlined by someone below, if I'm buying a Porsche, I would hope I wouldn't be responsible for all the logistics outside of getting the car, and it seems that's the case.

To what degree is the pick up facilitated by the oem? Like, are you responsible to get yourself to Europe and back and lodging etc, or is that part of the whole “experience”?

I'd fuck with that.

I love a loud exhaust, but I have a firm rule that your car should not be louder than it is fast.

I agree those are some super cool lights.

Airbags and cats are probably the most expensive parts in the whole quote and labour at $150/h adds up quick.....

Jeans are sized by waist x inseam... I'm not sure where you're going?

I thought the same thing....

That's still an awfully large brush to be painting with. Sounds like you've had a hard day. Pull up the stream and revel in big truck like things turning dinosaurs into lots of noise. It's good for the soul.

Well considering they're by and large, professional race teams, I'm gonna say probably not. But way to sound like an ignorant asshole.

I guess you missed the part where it was an homage to the original motor, which was called that.

Canbus. I'll assume spellcheck nailed you, but still...

Non cop cars got it done at request of the owner. And the issue was largely caused by poor upfitting and extended idling in cop cars.

Don’t get me wrong, it moves then well, and they slide nice with the lsd, but a performance vehicle, they are not.

Um, they've offered it with the 3.5l Eb for a while. That's probably why they haven't made a "big deal" out of it. Because it's a truck motor in a work vehicle that has been available for more than a couple years...
