Me and my boyfriend did that last night at dinner. I always find it fun doing the “what would you do..” also I realized you can learn a lot about some by what they’d image doing with ridiculous amounts of cash.

My daydream is even stranger, as I LIKE problem solving and managing numbers... So my daydreams include all the “problems” above, along with looking up my state and federal tax laws, game rules, etc.
I also spend hours online at work. After you’ve read the entire internet, you get bored. lol.

I call it “two dollars to daydream.” I know I’m not going to win, but I’ll buy a ticket then drive home thinking about all the fun ways I can spend that money. For me, that daydream is worth the $2.

I agree that getting suddenly filthy rich won’t guarantee you happiness and may cause problems. But I’ve never found working in a boring job 8-12 hours a day to stave off poverty is any sort of spiritual Nirvana either. I would be willing to experiment with a different set of problems for awhile.

Could we have an actual discussion, maybe? Wouldn’t it be more helpful to explain to people who might not understand how this is not an appropriate way to draw attention to a worthy topic? Instead of mocking and condemning dogmatically, could we explore the ways that this cause could be better served, and educate one…
