I give this episode bonus points for Gregson pointing out that a lot of people have been dying around Holmes lately.  Went nicely with past comments around here regarding "Does the case always have to be a murder?"

One of the best things I've seen on TV this season.

@avclub-0beb34df7e9615cd43b9090989ca4848:disqus My memory is a bit fuzzy, but by all appearances it was a family run company.  Killing the heir will achieve more disruption than hoping an idea will sustain itself over the course of years.  There likely isn't a next in line to just step in and take over.

Memento's plot fails on another basic level.  How long does it take for him to lose his memory?  Is it minutes, is it hours, is it overnight?  Turns out it takes whatever is convenient for the plot, and that's it.  There's no internal consistency to the movie.

I watched Memento once.  And when it was done, I said "That's it?  That was the whole launching point for the plot?"  I was so let down I haven't watched it since.

This episode did something worse than being bad, it was boring.

There's no shortage of wannabe-Arcade Fires these days that like to shout the word "Hey" in unison.

I got the impression that the voice on the phone was artificial.  If it wasn't, it's easy enough to retcon it to that once they cast Moriarty.

Agreed, I thoroughly enjoyed this episode.

I tried to watch it a few times, I really did.  But Bob's Burgers has the worst set of voices in all of animation.  It's just variations on yelling, and the males voicing female characters isn't helping.  The show gives me a headache, so I stopped trying to watch.

Because it's a 20 year old re-issue that you gave a 3.6 the first time around?
