Nepotism.
Nepotism.
It’s doom, just not Doom.
I mean... I think that’s disingenuous when it comes to discussing video in/out codex support.
Arrested Development Ron Howard Voiceover:
It will be the only system that won’t be able to run Skyrim.
In short: IT’S BECAUSE IT’S A TRANSPARENT SCAM, COLTON
At least the Ouya actually happened, though. There’s zero chance of this thing ever existing.
I keep reading it as “Polonium”, which is kinda apt actually, since I’d be equally likely to want to touch either.
But don’t worry. All the cryptosimps will be here to explain to you how this fantasy is supposed to work. Well they’ll try anyway, but all they’ll really do is shower you in buzzword diarrhea while failing to provide any context on why any of those things actually matter.
Ah, yes, you’ll need that 8K/120fps beast of a system to run what is basically old newsgrounds games with NFTs crammed awkwardly into them
Leave it to the cryptobros to promise a computing device that will never run Doom.
Wait a game with pirates has nonwhite people? Like literally the most diverse bunch the seven seas has seen through history? How dare they!
My glasses were off, so at first glance, I read this as “so redpilled he’ll throw himself off a cliff”. I should not think such bad thoughts.
The original Monkey Island had black people in it though? Like the fortune teller and Carla the swordfighting trainer? When did these people think Monkey Island was a safe space for white conservatives?
A right-wing bigot is mad that the art style reminds him (it’s definitely a him) of Tumblr.
Video games are great. “Gamers” are fucking trash. Makes me embarrassed to admit I love video games sometimes.
These must be the same morons that bitched about the art style in Windwaker when it was announced. As a big Monkey Island fan, the fresh art style is one of the most exciting aspects of the new game for me. Keep up the good work, Ron and team!
Haha I played Act 1 as soon as it came out, but never got around to playing Act 2 when that released. It sounds like maybe I’m better off that way
Broken Age was the first project I ever backed on Kickstarter. It had a rocky road getting to release but despite the all hiccups I thought Act 1 was fabulous...
Visuals/color choices are very Guacamelee to me, which isn’t a bad thing!
