I still think that following the before-hand statement of “Id I had to” and the general manner in which he said it doesn’t sound too certain to me. In either case, it's really just splitting hairs.

Most car people aren’t in their right mind. We're all a little nuts, just in our own way. I would still love to see one in person. I think I like the profile better than the The Ferrari.

But the fact that it followed a statement of “I really don’t know”, the “f I had to” just doesn’t sound like a certainty. That, to me, would have looked something like "The LaFerrari is going to win. I can't imagine a scenario in which the Concept One would outrun this car in a drag race."

I did, in fact. He just didn’t sound certain to me, that’s all. Typically, if someone says “If I had to...” right after, “I really don’t know...”, I don’t take it as a certainty. Maybe, “was inclined to believe” would be better, but I’m just nitpicking.

In either case, I just thought it was funny. That's all.

“If I had too.”

Doesn’t sound certain.

Also, it wasn’t a critique. Just funny.

That is an incredibly quick car. I am very eager to see what it will be able to do on a track under high-heat conditions with all of that cooling tech. And I love how low the car is. Wow.

Also, favorite part of the article:

It’s the glazed, far away look that can only be elicited from acute rabies symptoms, internet discussions, or Trump discipleship that really does it.

He needs all the help digging he can get; have you seen those stubby little fingers?

I didn’t get a Ford GT because I'm broke as fuck, but thanks for bringing it up.

I’m still surprised you weren’t just gifted one. The exchange of money, in your case, just seems like a needless formality.

Like many have said below, there are four cars that I truly love and desire, but one that I love and have the indescribable good fortune of owning.

The Four I love first, and the one I own last:

Plus a million for this.

Fair. But further perusal of the article is rather more prudent than hair-trigger praise-singing.

There’s several lists floating around in this thread. Check them out.
Some examples:

S2000
240sx
BRZ/FRS/GT86?86
C4 Corvette
etc.

You can even grab a decent Boxster if you look hard enough. I found several before I settled on a burz.

True. I had a 4g eclipse GT (please don’t judge) and it was okay. Comfortable, reasonable fuel economy if you drove like a sane person, V6 that was a lot of fun to tap into (on anything but a tight fun road, where it would understeer like a pig), and made a fantastic noise. MIVEC V6s really do make a killer noise when

I actually own a BRZ and love it. Like, LOVE. However, I am at least cognizant that it is definitely not the car for everyone. There's a reason their sales are so slow.

She’s not hating on the Miata as a thing, but the blind cult that has accreted around it. This kind of comment is the problem. Actually take a moment to read what she’s written.

Also, for the record, I don't like Miatas. They're the boring choice, every time, and you can get a lot more for the same price than people
