Yes, but what if he actually is a massive pile of fecal matter given life, the shoved lazily into clothes much too big, with a dead shih tzu stapled to the top?

They're two successful movies ahead of Universal's dumb Dark Universe. Hell, their two movies combined have a higher RT score than the entire DCEU before Wonder Woman.
CAPSULE
Yes. Literally everything where Chris Pine is not Kirk is Prime Universe. Or Mirror Universe I guess but, that one's obvious.
Everything about this album screams that she's trying to do a Miley Cyrus thing but it turns out she's not actually even as talented as Miley Cyrus.
Every song should have as many dumb "i found an 80s Casio keyboard that makes the noises" flourishes as Owner of a Lonely Heart
disregard that i suck cocks
Awful!
You're saying you'd let him gaze, study, observe, peek, glance, watch, stare, peep, ogle, eye, scrutinize, and get a load of?
Christ that's a bad poster. Why did they photoshop his head over it? Why not just put him in the cowl too so it doesn't look like a copy and paste piece of garbage. What are they doing?
Yes I know. I'm just showing that it's totally possible for Archer to be alive in this one.
If by "middle manager" you mean "Bryan Fuller" yeah I guess. He's been wanting to return Trek to this era for almost a decade.
It was inevitable. TNG and DS9 took just as long to reach their full potential, but they existed in a different TV landscape, in syndication, with different expectations. UPN demanded that Enterprise be their flagship series and it wasn't performing. Cold sucks tho.
It's always been 10 years.
Actually it worked great with Enterprise once they actually committed to the idea that it would need to lead into events we know happened in Trek history. Season 4 was fantastic and was nothing but set-up for the Earth-Romulan War and the birth of the Federation. It was when they said "Well, it's a prequel, but…
Rogue One was good and was jammed into a two day period just before a movie. Prequels can work, but they have to tell a good self-contained story that works by itself before it worries about the 'prequel' part of the equation.
Admiral Archer appears to canonically still be alive in the Kelvin Timeline. So sure, why not.
Show looks fine. It's not Star Trek if it doesn't have a rough start.
But not none!
This is a major theme of the Star Trek Titan novels, in that Riker specifically demands the Titan be the least human ship in Starfleet. The motto of the Titan is "Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations" and I love it so much.
