You shut your mouth, NYT crosswords are a national treasure

When everyone was going on about his first 100 days, my entire response was "Holy shit, we still have 1361 more days of this shit?"

Have they questioned Mundungus Fletcher?

I just want to say, I didn't upvote for the Simpsons reference, I upvoted for the Daxam reference.

Remember those pages and pages of rabid defense in the comments for Iron Fist?

I think you might have bigger problems than Whedon's dialogue.

Good news on the Jor-El front: we'll get to find out the answer to that question this fall on Syfy's Krypton

That monster at the beginning literally bled rainbows. Apparently that's as far as Zack Snyder got in watching the movie and then immediately turned to dust like a Dracula.

Not just the CW ones! How many fantastic DC animated shows have there been? Not even just the Timm-verse DCAU even. Bad DC TV is the exception rather than the rule.

Should've checked to see which Beastie still had their body movin'

No, no. Don't directly engage the Manimal. The Manimal cares not for your actual opinion. The Manimal merely crusades against the imagined hordes of paid Marvel shills.

For comparison's sake, Phyllis Thaxter, Superman's Ma Kent, was only 7 years older than Diane Lane is now.

I wish I liked both Marvel and DC movies! All I want is to enjoy these movies and they keep frustratingly telling me "No, no. We're gonna make shit and that's the deal." My favorite superhero TV shows are almost entirely DC- why the fuck can't they get their movie division in shape to do the same?

Oh I get it.

THAT IS NOT HOW THAT JOKE WORKS

There's always Time Warner (about a guy trapped in a time loop trying to warn people about some evil nonsense like a pyrokinetic mime or something)

Like a ferret, but gently pine scented.

Like a mongoose, but nearsighted.
