Daniel definitely says he wants to learn how to play Ramones songs on the guitar and when Nick replies that they play three chords Daniel says "So? I'll learn another." Daniel is also seen listening to Black Flag in his bedroom (although the record he listens to hadn't been released in 1980). I guess James Franco

Fundamental niceness is a big part of the show's undercurrent, but so is the darkness and disappointment that comes with getting older. The world becomes a lot more complicated when a person hits the age where they can comprehend it. The first few episodes have some dark moments within them, but "Kim Kelly Is My

I'd never seen a single episode until earlier this year when I decided to watch the whole thing thinking that I might be missing out on a major development in the evolution of television. Turns out the major development is that this show led to a sitcom style that I don't favor. That said, it got some chuckles out of

"Dead Dogs and Gym Teachers"
"Tricks and Treats"
"Looks and Books"
"The Diary"
"Kim Kelly Is My Friend"
"Beers and Weirs"
"I'm with the Band"
"Carded and Discarded"
"The Pilot"
"We've Got Spirit"
"Tests and Breasts"
"Discos and Dragons"
"Chokin and Tokin"
"The Garage Door"
"Girlfriends and Boyfriends"
"Smooching and Mooching"
"Noshing

I think you will enjoy the "Tests and Breasts" episode of Freaks and Geeks.

I've probably watched the whole thing through about ten times, but the first time was the most special.

And Ben Foster has also gone on to have a pretty solid career.

My roommate recently started watching Community and just caught up to the third season. I came home as he finished Remedial Chaos Theory and he said, "The third season of Community isn't very good." I stared at him stunned and shook my head.

I think there is still is a lot of material to be mined from Elizabeth and Schmidt being together, and the Cece/Schmidt pairing exhausted itself. Right now with Jess/Nick and Elizabeth/Schmidt New Girl is destroying the competition with its coupling.

Thanks for the reviews Steve. Reviews of Parks and Recreation (and Party Down) were the motivation for me regularly reading the AV Club.

Veep got a B+ on its midterms.

Andy, I like when you call people on their shit.

Well, I'm hooked. It's well-acted, full of subtle tension, and the visuals are some of the best to grace a TV series. The "Paradise" scenes are fantastic. It would be so easy to portray the women's colony and the men's bar in a cartoonish manner, but Campion adds so much humanity to the settings and characters. I

I think season 3 is going to be all about Shosh getting wild. She's 21 and Ray is the only boyfriend she's ever had. A social lady like her is ready to explore other options. Poor Ray.

I like that Girls is only a half-hour long, but I wish there were 13 episodes in a season.

There hasn't been a stretch this season where Parks has run more than three weeks in a row. It's disappointing.

A Sandwich Day sandwich with some Sabor de Soledad. 30 Rock did fictional food like no other sitcom.

Yeah, it's been about a year since I plowed through the whole series and this conversation makes me want go back and rewatch them all.

If it were the end I would have cried even more. I'm so glad that there's more to come.
