I'm one of the ones who literally gags at the smell of it. I learned to make guacamole with fresh parsley. My coriander-loving friends said they liked it as much or better. Of course they could have just been humoring me.

Another tip that I was told as a kid: watch where the “mouth” is eating. Kids often follow only the tips - which seems logical. But watching where the actual cut is happening not only makes for better lines, they also can make sure nothing bad - like other fingers! - stay out of harm’s way.
