Round me up if you want, but the only LoZ game I like is A Link to the Past. But I really fucking love that game.  In general, I think the series as a whole is wildly overrated.

I’d wonder how he feels about all this, but I guess all I have to do is read the comments.

I know you don’t know who I am, but do you know who I am? :p

I think the original Paper Mario captures that stumbling on whole worlds feeling.

My friend’s mom had a novelty store when these came out. She had - literal cases - of shrinkwrapped 1st edition boxes. I BEGGED to have at least one so I could keep it shrinkwrapped, because I collected Pokemon stuff. You see, when I was like 11, I didn’t have the ~$100+ for a whole box. But especially since I didn’t

Sure. I find two ways that Mario 64 appeals to me more than Odyessey: core mechanic and scale. (Sorry for the length of this response.)

For worse and for better, I don’t think any 3D Mario has fully captured the true open ended vibe of Mario 64, let alone replicated that isolated feeling of an intrepid explorer happening across entire worlds tucked away in an empty castle.

It’s funny - I was actually looking back through Filip Miucin’s other reviews to see if I could find other examples of plagiarism, but they’re all so full of cliches (“The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim still holds up as one of the most immersive virtual worlds ever created in a video game”) that it’s impossible to tell.

The iconic lighthouse that players encounter in BioShock’s opening moments stands like a beacon, ushering lost souls

Everyone has their gaming horror story and here is mine: a high school friend of mine played World of Warcraft so passionately that his enabling mother would bring a jar into his bedroom for him to pee into, and then empty it when needed.

I mean to be fair we *kinda* got that growing up with eps and singles sounding different than the studio albums.

Stephen, if you do only one thing for me during the entire E3 week, can you PLEASE ask Nintendo for proof of employment existing over at Retro Studios? A W2 form? An answering machine message? Something???

That was me trying to break 2100 (hey we all start somewhere). I’d get within one game and then lose lose lose. Finally made high 2100s! But not before dropping back to low 1800 at one point. So much depends on your team and not always your skill. I tend to roll with it now instead of being frustrated. You’ll

This is ridiculous. If I already paid $2,134,374 for the game, I shouldn’t have to pay $27,000 for DLC that’s already on the disc.

This is all canon.
