By the end of its run in 2000, Peanuts was an institution. It had become an omnipresent part of American culture,

I’m not ashamed to say, I took one of every pugg sticker from their E3 booth.

Rarely if ever have I hated a game maker and loved a gaming property simultaneously, so this will be an interesting experience for me.

This totally appeals to me, an average CS player. I can see why the pros hate it, but I love this. I really do hate losing to frame perfect players on account of their advance knowledge of the map.

I Fuck Fat People

I remember the first time I became consciously aware of my fat attraction. I was sixteen, sitting on the couch with

I honestly cannot believe this is a real thing. If this trailer had leaked, I would have convinced myself it was a marvelous fake.

MEGATON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Netflix on the Wii U now finally has the same UI as every other version of the service. Which means TV episodes will auto-play!

Jason,

Thank you thank you thank you for typing out what I never have the remote energy to argue with the average person. Excellent post, hurray!

Video game researcher here. You can measure things like EEG, EMG, EOG, ECG, body temp, GSR, etc. And studies have a lot to say about violent/aggressive video games and how playing them can raise heartrate, or, blood pressure, etc.

First of all, some experimental designs do not measure immediately after the stimulus. Secondly, isn’t that valuable information nontheless? Furthermore, barring longitudinal studies or multiple trials, both of which are costly and change the scope of your results, how do you propose violence is measured?

While I agree with the thesis that most of these studies are poorly done, (too small sample size, terrible methodology, etc etc) I think everyone in the hobby should really examine how we’re so quick to swallow the GOOD studies without thinking, but dismiss the bad ones immediately.

The research is still so scant! I can share a few of my own observations on how the industry is changing as a result.
