Right, but the problem is that people act on the basis of not reality itself, but rather the conceptions of reality that live in their minds. Those are universally spurious to varying degrees.

Just FYI, the price is wrong for Sleeping Dogs—it's $24 on Sale with XBL Gold

Mr. Ashcraft,

my definition of 'terrifying' is not the same as yours.

I was expecting something closer to Rule 34. These ones look funny (especially the drunken Pikachu) and the shading is perfect.

Koreans complaining of racism really doesn't carry much weight with me because stuff like this is acceptable in mainstream comedy and music acts over there.

Oh, God. This is the worst possible time to be on a trip. My hands furiously tremble in desperation as they call out longingly for my Proteus Core at home, where Photoshop is a mere click away.

"Shucks howdy!"

While it provides an easy way to navigate through game reviews, my problem with Metacritic is, as you said, the score. And the score is all anyone pays attention to on gaming sites (just look at some of the comments on this article). It's especially misleading when it comes to polarizing games like Alien: Isolation.

I like the average score as well, you just have to take it at face value and still look at reviews. For instance, sometimes a game that I had no interest in will have a 90 average. This perks my ears up for games that I may have not given a second glance. Then I'll look at the reviews and sometimes decide it's not

Roommate walked in while this video was playing and I was under blankets...I have no regrets.

They should know better than going into a map they have not played before, against a person who has. :p

Can we all just appreciate, for a moment, the genius that is Jason Schreier's opening sentences to Destiny articles??

If I'm not mistaken, there is also a leveling system in place that boost your passive capabilities in certain skills. Rounding out your play style with a few buffs? At least, that's what I recall from the alpha, I haven't had a chance to play the released game yet.

Are any games repetitive though? I played Gears of War multiplayer over and over again for years. Every time I played different things happened in terms of how I tackled situations and how they concluded, but there's also comradery between friends online that can effect how entertaining an online game can be.

But not full games.

As dumb as this is, as dumb as it was with "Scrolls," as dumb as it is when other companies do it "King and "Saga," anyone?), the core issue is a messed-up copyright system that basically requires companies to do stupid stuff like this or risk losing protections.

I really wish Smash went more into costumes/skins for the characters. I would much rather work to unlock rare costumes than trophies or stickers. No Ordon or Fierce Deity Link was a real bummer, pallet swaps don't cut it.

You mean this?

I generally don't watch a lot of sports, but I do enjoy seeing Sportscenter here and there because athletes do amazing things daily. Highlight reel is the exactly the same thing for me, even when I don't play most of these games! Keep it up, this feature is great.

I think it's just preference. I'm the same as you, average height with large hands, but I prefer the Vita's sticks.
