You know how there used to be (or still are) games that had to be specifically censored for Germany? Blood would be green, humans were robots, etc. How about the US American versions of games get nudity censored but they leave the rest of the world alone with this prudish idiocy.

It depends on what tool you use to cut them up (board and knife, press, grater, etc) but traditionally it’s supposed to be thick.

Yes. There are rye, and spelt spaetzle. Spelt is excellent actually. For great texture you use 2 parts wheat and 1 part semolina flour.
If you need them to be gluten-free, just use gluten-free flour. You might have to change the  water or eggs up to get the right consistency.

Kate, make the dough thicker and do shorter, rhythmic presses. They should be more like this (I hope the image works).
