Again you and Rowe are being disingenuous. The context of what he’s arguing for is responsibility on the part of the worker to keep themselves safe, which sounds fair enough, but it completely flattens the power structures in play.

No I didn’t, and framing it like that is extremely disingenuous if you actually listen to how Rowe presents his arguments.
Rowe has been a shill for a while now. As noted, he’s been taking Koch industries money now for more than a decade. How anyone still takes him seriously I haven’t been able to figure out, especially since he’s fairly upfront about it.
I’d bet the most common use case for this malware will be to install a bitcoin miner. Why buy compete with scalpers for video cards when idiots will let you use their hardware for free?
I’ve had the bad idea of taking a Nissan Armada (what the Patrol is called here in the US) then adding a Harrop 2650 supercharger to it for a while.
Well it might be rabid fans. But I’m a cynic, and I’d say there precedent for it after watching that exact pattern play out during the time rumors were swirling about the FRS and MKV Supra.
I’ve heard horror stories about this happening (and it’s actually why I use credit unions these days.)
I’d do the same, but I’m not real tied to the idea of owning a Tesla like this guy seems to be for whatever reason.
“There, Tesla employees instructed Slattery to contact his bank to reverse the charge — a plan Slattery found unacceptable as the bank informed him it could take up to 10 days to return the money to his account.”
Easy. You quickly grab all domain names approximating the new cars name and install some basic forum software (so you’re not technically domain squatting.) Then install AdSense.

I too hate social responsibility. The world should die with me after I’ve extracted everything I can from it over the course of my life.
On one hand I understand that the administrative parts of the state could potentially get this done faster if properly motivated. Especially since, without the filibusterer reforms, getting something like this (and a lot of other necessary legislation) passed would be annoyingly hard.
Oh my god, my 2011 Mazdaspeed3 is almost the exact same procedure, but with the bonus that it’s a 2 piece filter assembly that requires pushing up the top half then somehow blindly interlocking the lower half. Took way longer than I’d like to admit the first time I did it.
I swear these guys have an episode for everything.
PA DCNR will probably be reviewing those now that it’s come to their attention then.
I can only ever see that scene from The Matrix where Agent Smith seals up Neo’s mouth when I look at the Model 3 front end.
Citations Needed just did a great podcast episode solely devoted to pulling apart the political dog whistle that is the word “taxpayer.” I never really paid attention to its use before, but this minor youtube celebrity just embodies everything they were talking about.
I would not even mind the subsidies if there wasn’t the very loud hypocrisy of “nobody owes you nothing” and “bootstraps” and all the other mountain of bullshit that goes with it.
I’ll bite.
