The older I get, the less patience I have for people that jump into marriage. It’s not about me, I know. But I think Cuoco/Sweeting are probably the only ones that didn’t see this coming.

I think Im over Scandal. Fitz is just the worst. It’s so bad now that I have to zip through all of his scenes. He makes terrible decisions and literally everyone on the show is more capable than him. Except maybe Huck. Who I would also like to go away.

Ha, I never read that. I have so much ew when they have scenes in bed together mainly because that is such a messed-up relationship. Then again, I’m not sure any healthy relationships exist on this show.

Haha, yup. My mom was a teenager, with a drinking problem. Definitely didn’t know/was in denial for a few months. (She’s been sober for many, many years and is in fact an amazing mom!!)
I’m thinking the cats has something to do with toxoplasma. I don’t think it is something to really worry about unless you have prolonged contact with cat litter.
On the other hand, there’s my coworker’s wife, who refused to consume anything that was cooked in alcohol while pregnant. “You know the alcohol cooks off, right?” A very prim “Yes, well, better safe than sorry” was the reply to that.
Honest to God, pregnant women don’t need “excuses” for drinking coffee. Or having the occasional glass of wine or beer. Or eating lunch meat. Or having cats (yes, this actually something some people try to shame pregnant women about). Or any of a host of other things. Women’s bodies don’t become public domain just…
Completely non science based anecdote: My mom didn’t realize she was pregnant for the first three months of carrying me (nice body awareness mom) and likes to joke that I was swiiiiimmmming in margaritas. I turned out fine...thoooough it kind of explains a lot about me.
I actually don’t drink alcohol in general (I despise feeling even slightly tipsy) but I think the rabid shaming of any woman who dares to sip a beer in pregnancy is total moralizing, body-controlling BULLSHIT.
I hated Lea michele in Glee (I mean I hate watched all of Glee in general), but she is weird and genuinely funny in this show.
