Actually, you make a valid point: a suspension job on something like an AMG GLA45 would just turn it into a full fledged AMG A45. Dropping the suspension on a Macan Turbo would literally make that car a slice of heaven.

QUESTION: Wouldn’t building one car to the strictest emissions standards actually be cheaper for manufacturers to produce, easier to supply parts for, and therefore cheaper for consumers to own instead of making both a crappy “US spec” and a superior “Spec for Civilized Parts of the World” version?
