I was about to say that half the people who believe that tweet probably think that SuperCruise, Pilot Assist, Active Driving Assistant Plus, and Autopilot would solve their issues.

Yeah same here. Although I should note that APR makes aftermarket chips that essentially “GTIify” the Sportwagen. Unfortunately, you don’t get the trick diff (and you void the warranty). For my money, I’d get an automatic F31 328/330i and put a Dinan chip in it.
If he had a beige Toyota 1998 Camry, it would outlive him (and maybe if he has kids, the Toyota would outlive them, too).
They drive some of the best cars...briefly. They have bits of the best cars forever, though.
Yep. The written gems and the general dynamism present here is why I cannot help but keep coming back. You can get car news from almost anywhere. But this place is so much more than that. Hats off to the fabulous writers who run this wonderful place.
“Fancy Kristen was pleased. Regular Kristen was slightly air sick.”
I can bet you almost anything that you might’ve been more convinced if they made a Golf R Sportwagen or GTI Sportwagen...which give me some ideas(cough...APR...cough)!
True...a massive benefit
Enzo Ferrari had a huge hatred of clients who purchased his cars for showing off instead of for track usage...which is the exact type of person who buys a California.
It was a Jag. Any idiot (including myself) knows that a supercar has to function when you want it to even though you’ll probably just tell your garage manager to put it on display for all your friends to get wasted off of Chateau Margaux while staring at it.
Still a bit beige in terms of interior and dynamics next to the Kia Optima, Honda Accord, and Mazda 6.
Based on the design, wouldn’t that be more rear engined than mid engined? After all, the engine sits behind the rear seats on the axle. You’ve created the 2020 Toyota Camry Not-A-911-But Close Enough Edition.
True. Which is exactly why we are idiots for not buying ‘em while we still could.
They shouldn’t have killed the VW Alltrack or the Golf Sportwagen...idiots
Well, I’m not sure that the Ford GT should be disqualified solely due to its Raptor engine. I say this because part sharing is quite common amongst many cars that pretty much everyone classifies as supercars. Some examples of supercars that share parts and/or platforms with either other supercars or lesser brands inclu…
Not trying to start a flame war, but I feel the same way (as Skipp does about the Corvettes) about most Porsche 911s. I had this convo with two friends, both of whom disagreed with me but understood my rationale: To car enthusiasts like us, the 911 is a masterpiece. To most people on the streets, it’s just a really…
Which Volkswagen is this based on?
So stereotypical...not to mention true
Gigantic discount from Audi (some thousands of dollars off)
