I heard there were a ton of feminists here and I had an entirely false conception of what that word meant.

Matt Kemp has become the living embodiment of what I think about when I'm trying not to cum.

First of all, you have great parents.

I think we're pecking at the same seed here... I agree with your point about there being tons of resources being poured into anti-drinking campaigns and only a fraction as much for sexual assault awareness. But, as you noted in your comment, nearly all of the anti-drinking propaganda is framed around the negative

You seem fun.

I don't disagree with any of that. My point isn't that we should teach kids not to drink instead of any other lesson, merely that it should be one of the lessons here.

This has nothing to do with blame. This poor girl deserves no blame. She is 100% the victim and I hope that the full force of the law comes down on all those responsible for this. My point, which I thought was pretty obvious, was that if we're going to take it a step further and start discussing what "good" can come

Yes, my point was that it's perfectly fine to rape a woman. Your reading comprehension is right on point.

Do you really have no ability as a parent to caution your children without turning it into some sort of educational snuff film? I suppose you don't tell your daughters to wear a seatbelt either without sitting down with them and showing them pictures of people's brains splattered all over the highway, right?

Got it. We shouldn't even mention the fact that maybe, unfair as it may seem, it's a good idea to look out for yourself. We shouldn't acknowledge the fact that the real world has real dangers and dangerous people in it. We should just pretend that everyone is good and nice and not bother to take any steps towards

You're right. There's no lesson to be learned. Parents should tell their daughters that there's nothing wrong with going to a party and drinking to the point of being completely unconscious. The only thing that matters here is who's at fault. Protecting oneself from calamity should not even be discussed.

You can't possibly be that stupid. It's obviously not the victims fault that this horrible assault happened to her. But if the author is going to talk about things that people should learn from this incident - and things that parents should teach their children - how could she not even mention the potential lesson for

"Lebron James is following your girlfriend" also happens to be the premise of most of George Zimmerman's fantasies.

Holy shit... Jesus... +1

"Few men try for best ever, and Ted Williams is one of those."

Seriously, though, why is Manute Bol sitting in that chair in your alley?

"We're finally sick of pretending that athletes can't be rapists?" Seriously? On what planet do people think that athletes can't be rapists? If anything, I think that people are more suspicious of and willing to blame athletes when it comes to sex crimes.

Don't ever stop being you, friend.

For a second I thought this might be Billy Joel's car, but it looks like it's right side up.

I know that woman! I went drinking with her once. She ordered me two fingers of scotch and I ended up in the emergency room.
