As a Sydneysider who attended that university - I would like to politely let you know that Sydney has the 7th largest percentage of foreign born residents in the world - and immigrants account for 75% of the yearly population growth. Yes, many of our newcomers are from the UK and New Zealand - but many are from China,

They lost me at 'light beer'.

The first line of your comment was my thought, too. You go ahead and write your article, lady. We'll be over here quietly enjoying our own life choices!!

Morgan has never felt good about relaxing in her own home on a Friday night with Thai food and TV? Morgan is a negative jerk when her friends invite her to hang out? Morgan is getting single life so very, very wrong!!

Sounds like the "Cool Girl" from Gone Girl...

I suppose my comment will stay grey - but I feel compelled to respond to this article. It made me uncomfortable and kind of heartsick. Look, many of us have been bullied - I was too and I understand how awful and isolating it feels. But the vitriol in your piece is staggering. You seem consumed with the need to apply

Just wanted to say that I read this thread and found your comments to be really thoughtful and balanced. It seemed clear to me you were considering the man's difficult condition without dismissing the woman's fear and the seriousness of the situation. Of course everyone's experience is different and people can't

Add a six pack of beers to offer friends in that fridge and that's luxury! Agree - managing expectations = key to true happiness!

'Meow' indeed :-)

I feel you on that - I live in Australia and our UV rating is extreme nearly every day in summer. I have all the tricks - crossing the road to walk in the shade, choosing chairs so I can sit with my back to the sun. It's a little inconvenient but mostly habit now, and I do think it's made a difference. Good luck :-)

I have melasma too - from trying a different pill brand. It was pretty bad when it first came in. A male friend even asked me 'what's wrong with your face?' (a question that nobody should ever, ever ask another human being). It's faded a lot now and I'm lucky in that it's only under my eyes. I tried many potions and

Just want to let you know it's the Sydney Morning Herald - not modern. Signed, Sydneysider :-)

Correction - Sydney MORNING Herald :-)

Absolutely LOVE your GIF but I must defend Gilbert Blythe - he grew out of his man-child tendencies before Anne grew out of her grudge holding tendencies. All's well that ends well though :-)

Yeah it's the best :-) No it's not a set night - usually we get in touch early in the week with availability and ideas. Eating dumplings is a recurring theme!!

Lives in a filthy house. Really? You invited me here and showed me that you live like this?

I want to be just like Judi Dench when I grow up. We can be best dame friends forever!

My two besties and I have 'date night' once a week. One is pregnant with her third - the other has a 6 month old and is doing her masters. They both told their husbands that they need a night every week (even if it's only a couple of hours and it takes place in one of their homes after kiddies bed time) for the three

Maybe not immediately - but a Lannister always pays his debts.

So Miley was snorting "something suspicious" eh? What are non-suspicious things a person can snort? Loose leaf tea?
