Fun fact about the Ghia (and possibly some other models of the Mustang II) - it had a muffler with a “two into one” design. Not a resonator, but the final muffler itself, which was pretty weird for the time:

Yes. That’s how racing series work.

Now are those just any chassis design that someone eyeballed to look like a 962? Or were they following the designs and used parts laid out by Porsche? Looking at the registry, it reads like the monocoques and some other parts were provided along with parts that you ordered. You could modify it a bit, like Kremer

Yes in the sense that it normally has 962 somewhere in its name, but when made by someone else it does get a name change like the Kremer 962K5 or the Schuppan 962CR road going version.

Maybe it was down a cylinder? Would explain the lack of power!

Can you at least put “Lookalike” or “Mimic” or something similar in the title? I came in expecting a 4G63 in a gold lined engine bay for maximum WTF, but in the end it’s “just” another specialized race car that just happens to look like an F1.

+1 tinfoil star (that can also be used as a hat)

Not a W-body, so good luck with that one....

Wow, a 300k mile FWD corolla with a swap that really doesn’t add that much over a decent red top 4A-GE like it probably came with. And if you swapped in a different motor, why not try and fit in a black or silver top motor and actually have a more modern and powerful motor?

Listen, this is a free country. If I and my coworkers all want to chug a bottle of nyquil at the start of our shift and play a good ol’ round of “Dozing Dozers” at the construction site, then that’s our FREEDOM, dear sir or madam.

No, he lost all his marbles years ago and thinks they’re a deep state conspiracy anyways.

Oh good, an italian all wheel drive system mated to the most overly complicated turbo engine the 80s could make, and it has some weird 80s doors stuff things. Not a single chance at all that something will break on this car. Nope. Not at all.

Lighting. I parked under a tree so the way the branches and sunlight fell, there’s lots of shadows over it.

Counterpoint to your Counterpoint to my Counterpoint:

Agreed!

You stated that yellow is bad. This is false.

What is the biggest, weirdest thing you can get from a thrift store that fits inside of this civic?

No, those aren’t *that* common. Maybe for some obscure sizes or bikes or odd sized tires but the spoons work just fine for most tires and bikes. And his point was that most shops will refuse to even attempt that mounting, so you have to do it on your own. And using some of those techniques does risk damaging the tire
