Maybe if the people who make games make them, you know, actually GOOD, then I fail to see how this would be an issue for them. Because most indie games are download only (or heavily favor being downloaded) and won’t be in this system. And a lot of “big” games these days purposely stack loads of DLC and online passes

This one is my rage button. Because it is ALWAYS a crossover or SUV that has some considerable size so it is blatantly obvious when they turn or change lanes. You “used” your signal while already turning. Great. I can see that. Maybe try doing it about 5 seconds earlier, sweetie. But bless your heart, you tried.

Neutral - No. They refuse to make bikes at a decent price that I want to *ride*. Harley makes bikes to be *seen*. And some are stunningly beautiful. But those are the rarities and they still aren’t the best to ride on. ANd when they do try, they still mess it up. The new Street Rod is thoroughly trounced by bikes like

If - *IF* - you are a huge fan of this car, then maaaaaaaaaaybe this is NP. But aside from being quirky, it isn’t all that fun to drive, it will need additional work as the miles get put on it, and because of the high miles it isn’t likely to appreciate in value for some time (likely not during your ownership period

Look, if you can dial it back a bit and read this without it being combative, please take this away from what I’m saying - Detroit itself, is a world apart from the areas that surround it. That entire shaded area on the map you posted? That’s not Detroit. In fact, some of the places at the edges of that area are

It’s a pretty sprawling metro area for sure. But the culture and lifestyles are wildly different even if you’re just a few miles away. I grew up in Shelby Township, which is next to Macomb, where this crime took place. I assure you, Shelby/Macomb/Sterling Heights are the polar opposite of downtown Detroit in every

No one called it that, but gawker writers have shown a certain degree of idiocy from time to time.....

No, I can, and I will. Especially given that Macomb is the name of one of the counties to the north of Wayne country, which is the country Detroit is in. And “I’m from (this city) which is north/west/south of Detroit” is perfectly acceptable. But you also wouldn’t say you were “from Detroit” if you were from Mt.

I knew the second I posted it that another Michigan person would add that. But given how poor the current writers seem to understand the area, this might be a bit too much for them.

And center line is in Warren. But those are factual statements. You can look at a map and see that. Just because a city is near another one does not mean it is inside it. And this city isn’t even near the one they said it was inside. That was my point.

Worse still, they just said a city was within another city....that’s baffling to me. They didn’t say “near Detroit” they said “in Detroit”. Why? How hard is this shit to get right?

Similar to how the Pontiac Silverdome is nowhere near Detroit, Macomb Township is nowhere near Detroit itself.

Credit where credit’s due - stroll saved it during a pretty hairy ride. Riccardo probably had a little skidmark in his pants after that, but if stroll had placed a piece of coal on his seat before the race, he would’ve made a diamond by the end of all this.

Yeah, seriously. Doubly so for that second half. Many of these manufacturers would *love* for other companies to buy some motors off of them so they can eke out more profit from their small car platforms via lowered cost of production. I know Ford sells the ecoboost, I think mitsubishi and a few other japanese

Alanis, don’t take it personally. We all say things we don’t mean when we’re waiting in a service department for hours on end. Their frustration will inevitably lessen once they trade it in for something else.

I never understood that part of the plan. There’s a solid dozen 1.0L and below motors that could work just fine from various manufacturers. Ford’s 1.0L ecoboost is sold here so there is a supply chain already laid out. Pep boys sells parts for it. Doing it your own way just causes headaches for everyone...

Official numbers from honda show the civic as being better on gas too.

21k for a FIT?!?!?!?!

One of my friends has what he calls the “Golden rule” - a gold toyota corolla, driven by someone in their golden years, will never exceed 38 mph. Whenever you’re held up on a 45 mph two lane road and are going EXACTLY 38 mph, there will be a gold corolla leading the train, driven by a senior citizen.

Any chance you guys can sell episodes direct here on jalopnik (or through amazon?) for like 2 or 3$ an episode?
