Is there a list of lowest selling cars that were not either discontinued in 2016 or above $100K? That would be actually interesting, these seem like they are all just “artifact” data.

So GM could have literally avoided their entire recall of all the ignition switches with resulting deaths if they’d just recalled an already faulty design in the first place? Sweet, sweet irony, thy name is cheap as hell General Motors.
My sunroof squeaks like a by the hour motel mattress (MY15 Mk7 GTI). Granted, this is most probably due to the wonderful people at MDOT forgetting to add in pavement and left a gap in a temporary bypass on I96 resulting in the most god awful bang of all time when I hit it at freeway speeds (I was boxed in on both…
Because there are passion based car purchases that are the result of good decision making?
100% NP, for the price people charge for surface rust covered TJ’s, this LJ that is PRISTINE for a toy is a steal. People need to think about the target audience. This didn’t “ruin” an off-roader, it created an insanely cool beach/lake mobile. If I was going to get a kickass car to keep at a lake house I’d buy thing…
No escape from those who always think they have the answers.
I’m an independent, can we please keep our automotive news the same way? Politics is everywhere right now, I don’t come to Jalopnik for it, I come here to escape it for a moment.
Truly my childhood after school.

It’s as if they said “oh let’s be creative” but really meant copy the F150 with some changes on the front end. Then they chickened out after the front end that they’d put off too many buyers in typical conservative GM fashion.

You have no idea how big a PITA this webbing is for me professionally....
I think it’s gorgeous actually. Just give me a twin turbo flat 6!
Does it make me a terrible person if I’ve driven nothing but manual cars (15 years of driving) but now am going to an automatic? I have a fun car with a manual I drive whenever I want to have fun, and I hate to not support the fun daily manuals but my commute is just a go straight 10 miles, turn left, go straight 10…
FANTASTIC article, bravo.
Critical point though, avoiding putting them right outside a senior center. There’s one not too far from where I live that is a death trap to be avoided at all costs.
Again, someone must always coin the term first. It’s impossible for a term to come from nowhere. My point is if they haven’t always claimed it as their term then it is a fallacy. If they’ve owned it from day 1 then I retract my previous statement. It’s like someone trademarking “sedan”....
I hate to be pedantic, but there literally must be someone to coin any term. The point is that it is now part of the common vernacular. If they have owned the trademark since day 1 that is one thing, but to claim it now is disingenuous.
This is what annoys me about some trademarks. How do you trademark Targa? It’s a generic term to define a vehicle with a removable roof section spanning the A and B pillars. It’s like trademark on the word tissue and why Kleenex is Kleenex. So now we’re stuck yet again with a proliferation of stupid marketing terms…
