An ERA of 135!

hey, man. I’m simply going by what was said at the time.

Never forget. The old UK Wildcat had a dick in its mouth

Daguerreotypes are DEEPLY fucking creepy.

Is it just me - or is that photograph giving anyone else the heebie-jeebies?

As I’ve mentioned before, my husband is ex-British army infantry - there’s something here (largely online) called the “Walter Mitty Hunters Club” where serving and ex-military folks name and shame anyone falsely claiming or inflating their military credentials. As you can imagine, they don’t take kindly to these sort

The TA is basically a joke in the UK. It’s a part timer reservist force where a few aging weekend warriors do some basic training a few days a year. Some people go into theatre deployment in the TA but it’s not often.

This guy has yet to make it through 12 steps, let alone an entire staircase.

There is something to a concrete bowl that smells like stale beer and musty drains. It’s that mustiness that sets it apart from the smell of frat houses.

Reminds me of when they traded for Brandon McCarthy.

The Gawkerverse has a really uncomfortable streak of building up and tearing down young (mostly white) famous women. I’ve always thought it disconcerting at the least, and overly woke posturing at the worst, all at the expense of real people where the punishment doesn’t really fit the alleged crime.

It’s similar to rape apologists. Like, “Sorry, I did this terrible, dehumanizing thing that affected you in ways I can’t even imagine, I’m sure you’ve thought about it a lot since I did it, but I’m just thinking about it for the first time right now, and realizing it was a bad thing to do. I’m so proud of how far I’ve

That was weird. I also found it strange that the author tries to justify (at least a little bit) posting the invasive photograph in 2012 by saying that we as a culture didn’t wake up to how horrible stuff like this was until 2014. Ummmm, what? No, I’m pretty sure most of us knew well before then that it’s not OK to
