Very excited for that one. Like Great Unwashed, I really don't go for a lot of instrumental music, but Russian Circles are one BIG exception to that rule. I love everything I've heard from their new one so far.

I think that's true of almost any band in this genre. On the record, instrumental post- whatever puts me to sleep, but live it can be a transcendent experience.
Well I'm wishing you the best of luck through all of this. I'm unreasonably excited about your brewery.
I love that a video game is driving you to drink.
@avclub-ec26fc2eb2b75aece19c70392dc744c2:disqus Generally I agree, but sometimes they are fun to try … especially if someone else is buying ;)
@avclub-500e75a036dc2d7d2fec5da1b71d36cc:disqus I like it, too. It's only big flaw, as you intimate, is that it comes after the first and treads familiar ground. Taken on its own it's a better book. A better rendition of the same story. Mockingjay not so much … but you should still read it just to finish the series…
I missed my Oktoberfest window and I'm moving on to a winter/holiday brew. Haven't picked a recipe yet, but I'm planning to make an amber or brown ale with spices this weekend. Looking at recipes is a rabbit hole that can steal hours of my life, so I gotta be careful with that.
I know how you feel. It's a lighthearted show, but it doesn't feel exploitative at all. These dudes know their stuff and bring a real passion for craft beer to the show. Only problem? It makes me real thirsty.
I purchased the achiote paste from a Latin market here in town. It's not this brand, but it looks exactly like this:

You run into the occasional person that lays on the "You're missin' out, dude!" pretty heavy, but that never bothered me for sec. When you know, you know.
Fried halloumi is among the world's greatest foods.
That London broil sounds fabulous.
That Old Rasputin is a classic. Had it many times. The Full Sail Ltd 06 Black Bock Lager sounds interesting.
We've got cuteness, but no acid, threesomes or tantric anything.
I could sure use the money.
Baby is great. Settling in very well. She sleeps well as long as she's fed, and we're not dead tired or anything (yet).
@avclub-830dbe34b0cd199d6664b1c56394b200:disqus We diverge even further. Dreama Walker is gorgeous to me. I could stare into those big eyes for days.
Finally cracked my first attempt at an imperial stout in celebration of Baby Snape's arrival. Divine! Anyone familiar with the Great Divide Yeti will know the ballpark it's in. (Honestly, I think I like it even more … and with 5 gallons of it at 9.5%, that's probably a bad thing.)

So easy, so delicious. Made just that not but a few weeks ago.
