I definitely don't care enough to try to make one, but if I saw it on the menu (of a restaurant I trusted), I'd give it a shot.

The comments are interesting to me. I find cooking vegetarian WAY cheaper, and not just by focusing on pastas or other starches. Veg is just so much cheaper than meat. It's the only reason I cook vegetarian so often. It sure as fuck ain't for health reasons.

Cooked quite a lot since last Thursday:

That's what made Anthony Jeselnik's first appearance (on the Trump roast) so great. He had practically nothing to lose at that point. So you started off, "Who's this fucking guy?" and by the end of his vicious set, you're saying, "Whoa, who's this fucking guy?"

The way he ended each riff with "…he's awesome." was charming, I thought. Maybe against the spirit of a roast, but Hill seemed like he couldn't help it.

Yeah, the sound is grating enough, but it's the frequency that drives one to murder.

"A lot of people will make fun of your weight tonight, but not enough people will talk about what an asshole you've become."

@avclub-60cb0a523e5b7d11aaa3f617e200d0ef:disqus I also missed Jeselnik. I figured he'd become a staple like Jeff Ross, but I guess given the "friends of Franco" theme maybe he didn't fit in. His bite was needed though. When Natasha Leggero has the sickest barb of the night, you know there are deeds left undone.

OMG the knee-slapping. What a horrific affectation. I don't know why that annoyed me so much, but it did.

Have to agree with what others have said. The only similarities between Samberg's and MacDonald's set was that they were both non-traditional given the setting. Samberg had a clear angle though which, even if the punchline wasn't predictable, the gist of it was. He'll say something surprisingly nice and then treat it

It's a minefield for all the same reasons that IPAs are, but I have really enjoyed:
Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous Ale
Firestone Walker Wookey Jack Black Rye IPA

I've been on a St. Arnold's kick lately. Really love their stuff. I end up getting one almost every time I go out drinking. The Saint Arnold's Bishop's #2 I had last night was delicious. It's brewed with sour cherries and is super dry. Like wine almost.

Wow, can't remember the last time Beer Thread got so much response. This is awesome.

I guess I'm going to be in the minority here, but I really don't understand this whole thread. In my house, where I usually drink beer if not at a restaurant, it is 72-74 degrees all day, every day. The temperature outside has NO effect on the beer I want to drink.

I'm a beer fanatic and mostly dislike IPAs. If it tastes like a tree, then it ain't for me.

Bought a large-size Big Green Egg, which is high-end ceramic charcoal smoker/grill, and I LOVE it. The whole package which included a few of the accessories cost $1000 … which is actually a really great price for this thing. Between $200-400 cheaper than what I'd usually see.

Awesome!

Overall I found the character annoying, but Hanford smugly explaining that the final cartoon was just a barrel because, "Honestly, I just ran out of time," had me rolling. That was great.

@avclub-d72f705337e5adcf7e33ec0381c5f5b2:disqus Argh! How did I miss it?

We got one with Mrs. Snape +1's sonogram last week, and it was horrifying. Looks like an alien. We showed it to family and some friends, but for the Facebook update, she went with the 2D profile shot.
