Man, they didn't do that feature for 2012. Shame. That was always a fun one.

@avclub-96f15daceb6669363fbf7f762ed57703:disqus Two weeks before we found out she was pregnant, Mrs. Snape and I were actively planning a drinking tour of Denver. Breweries, bars, restaurants, we we're going to damn near kill ourselves.
Definitely looking forward to the fall beer season. I like brews dubbed "Octoberfest" more often than I dislike them. I just hate the seasonality of it. I like heavier brews year round (I'm brewing an imperial in August for fuck's sake), so the whole, "It's 90 degrees outside, lets only have saisons and IPAs" is…
"Reminds me a bit of Deafheaven but with pretty female vocals."
Actually, that's the one meme that consistently makes me chuckle, though some are better than others.
Congrats.
I'm a cat person who has two cats and loves his two cats. And two cats is enough.
That first guy was all over my school, at least the first part of it. I'm far too polite and/or shy to say anything, but singing opera by yourself in the cafeteria while people are trying to eat lunch is annoying. Like, for real.
Sorry, I can't relate with personal experience, but good luck. I sometimes regret not going to graduate school, because every teacher I had from my field of study asked me about my graduate school plans. They encouraged me strongly to consider it, sometimes just assuming it was on the table with, "So, where are you…
Got a raise last week. Asked for it, got it. An extra $3500 on the salary. I mean, I deserve it, so it wasn't a HUGE surprise or anything. I felt like the time was right to ask. But still felt good.
Mrs. Snape is having real trouble arbitrating between her desire to go swimming with dolphins and her certainty that those dolphins have a really shitty life. I tell her to never, ever go swimming with dolphins because I know she'll have a bad time. Commercials for SeaWorld can make her cry.
@avclub-241b2421faecd6ca0aaa67cb80e8a634:disqus Oh man, sounds like you've got it even worse than me. I've actually managed to turn her on to a few things over the years. When we started going out back in '99, she didn't eat chicken. It's not that she didn't like chicken, it's just that she never thought to eat it.
Although I like a few others, gaming podcasts begin and end with the Bombcast for me. It's the only one I have to listen to every week.
Got a grinder attachment for my kitchen-aide for Christmas '12, and still haven't ground a damn thing. I've used the pasta roller quite a bit, though.
Mrs. Snape eats no fish or seafood, which I love, so I often look longingly at the seafood counter wishing I had someone to cook the fish for. I mean, I could cook it for myself, but I only cook when I cook for her, and I don't want to prepare two proteins or worse yet, two different meals entirely.
Do you think her hair is naturally that orange? Either way, it's gorgeous.
Tested gravity on my latest brew after 6 days in primary, and adjusting for temperature its looking to land right on 9.5% ABV. It's an imperial stout allegedly similar to the Great Divide Yeti, and the taste is already in that neighborhood. Can't wait to see how it turns out after another 5 weeks conditioning in…
Does Tivo actually do that 3rd thing? When there's a conflict, it records the next showing instead? I have experience with Time Warner DVR, Verizon DVR and AT&T DVR, and NONE of them have this feature. Never had Tivo, though.
Putting together a crib, dresser and car seat. I'm guessing I'll go one for three … at most.
Irish cheddar … not sure I have a favorite brand I'd recommend. I mean, I probably do, but I don't remember any of their names.
