After much reminding to do so from a friend, I finally started reading Ready Player One, which really should be right up my alley. Video game, D&D and pop-culture nerd that I am.

The only concerts I regret are the ones I didn't see.
Favorite from Zack and Miri, "You better shut your face or I'm gonna fuck it."

I swear to god, @avclub-18f18df4a6146deb1b97c2c944b9660c:disqus, we are the same fucking person. While I didn't hear any of them today, I could have. I have all five of those tracks on my iPod.
They performed "I'm on a Boat" live on Fallon, but I guess the story is they've never done a headline concert before. They've certainly played live.
Easy call, because "sung poorly" doesn't even come close to the travesty of those Sabbath videos hitting Youtube lately. And the fucker had the nerve to say that Ward can't keep up.
I've done that many times in my professional life. Never for a GTA, though, as I do not like them.
@avclub-011d0b4fe6835bb3d37ef4e0ea713de6:disqus Masterfully handled. That's awesome.
Oh for sure. I've seen Dillinger live. Arguably the best show I've ever seen was Dillinger actually. A guy in the crowd was being a beyond major dick, jumping up on stage and screwing with Ben during "Widower", kicking people. The crowd turned on him and started beating on him, and so the bouncers decided to throw him…
A Mr. Beer extract syrup kit plus amber ale extract powder. Took it easy since I was a first timer. I see myself going partial grain pretty quickly though. Though I like my beer, I'd be the first to admit it lacks character.
And so much easier, too. Yep, definitely went with the EZcaps.
I suck at making friends/talking to people I don't know, so I really do prefer to have a buddy (usually it's Mrs. Snape), but I rarely let that stop me from going to shows.
Mrs. Snape and I just visited the HMNS last Saturday and we're blown away by the paleontology/dinosaur exhibit. Easily the best we'd seen. Though, if I'm honest, the rest of the museum was just aight.
Oh, chile peppers in beer, I love it!
Finally cracked my first attempt at home brew on Sunday. I was aiming for an amber ale and ended up with more of a blonde, but I like it better than most blondes I've tried (not a go-to for me). Nice citrus notes and not very sweet. After taste is a little dull, so I'm thinking about trying it with lemon. Carbonation…
I actually think the panel is pretty easy … Rich Hall, Greg Proops, Jon Stewart, Andy Richter, Marc Maron, Louis C.K. … really just stuff it full of "A.V. Club"-style comedians and you'll be good to go.
If it was outdoors like a major festival it'd be no go, even with that line-up, but it's an indoor venue I like, so I'm really thinking about it.
@avclub-b20754d0f1e8ae843e00a8b39a667112:disqus My group actually really loves me as a GM, so they kind of pushed me into finally doing it again, plus I've got a setting I developed that I've worked on in bits and pieces for the better part of three years never having run a game with it.
