I'm introducing a new campaign this evening, after maybe 10 years since running a game (I've played on and off the whole time through). Pathfinder. Not because I love Pathfinder - I don't - but because I've got the materials and don't have a lot of time to devote to preparing the sessions. I'm interim GM'ing until my…
Thinking about attending Summer Slaughter this year. I've never really had interest in this tour, or festival-style tours in general, but this line-up is just amazing to me. Not listing all, but ones that speak to me:
The Dillinger Escape Plan (headlining)
Animals as Leaders
Periphery
Cattle Decapitation
The Ocean (I've…
I had never heard of banana ketchup, so I appreciate the trivia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wik…
As someone who has sought police attention to an unwanted vehicle in front of my house after multiple personal appeals had failed, I can say for certain that her calling the police wasn't going to accomplish shit. I believe this may vary by state, but where I'm from the residential roads are public property and people…

That new Jex Thoth track going around really works for me, and that's far from my usual bag. If the album can stay in that pocket then I might have reason to be excited here.
So glad to hear the love for Byzantine. Probably still my favorite of the year so far. For non-Spotify members, it's also streaming here: http://www.nocleansinging.c…
Made a fairly quick and stupidly easy faux pho yesterday courtesy of the Sandwich King: http://www.foodnetwork.com/…
Coffe/Spice grinder is what I prefer. For the "stone ground" effect, pulverize the seeds to powder in the spice grinder and mix your liquids. After it sets for however long, add whole seeds to the batch (I usually mix yellow and brown for this) and let set some more. The whole seeds will soften in time.
Ketchup Sidebar:
I agree with @avclub-96f15daceb6669363fbf7f762ed57703:disqus 's central premise that mega-brand mustards are not preferable to homemade or boutique brands. However, what of ketchup?
It definitely calms down over time, like @avclub-0edf30a984c91fe16daa1a9d45f2e08f:disqus said. The chemical reaction that creates the heat is also halted by acid, so the sooner you add your acidic liquid to the equation the better if your goal is to keep the heat down.
Glee renewed for two more seasons. Feels excited. Feels deepest shame.
A favorite of mine, too. Especially when you add that gorgeous Paul Thomas Anderson video.
Oh yeah, I remember that one now. Field was really charming. I couldn't tell if the lonely stuff was real or for fun, it was pretty funny though.
Was she also the one who flapped even the unflappable Stephen Colbert with her strange, seeming drug-addled refusal to be interviewed during her Colbert Report interview?
I struggle to imagine a better use of an afternoon.
Unfortunately, however long it's been since you dropped in, there's probably still nothing new to hear. They haven't put out any finished songs since their demo. They're working on their debut full-length, which will include the five tracks from the demo rerecorded plus at least 3 new tracks we know of. Supposed to…
Mrs. Snape's favorite alcoholic drink is Ace Pear Cider, which I also love. It was a common purchase for us both at pubs and for the home. But, I swore off it for the duration when she became Mrs. Snape+1, because even the scent of it at five paces drives her wild.
