Pizzolatto got hired after one novel and a good pitch. I think he blew his wad on season 1 (which was a) fantastic and b) plagiarized, depending on who you ask) so I'm wondering if he didn't have anything left in the tank. If True Detective was a novel he'd have had years to write the follow up. With HBO, I'm

Leap-Frog? Bonus: Already a Daredevil villain.

This new Green Arrow/Black Canary series looks great.

So, Prisonbreak, the show that started off fun and then didn't know how to end..so it kept putting people back in prison…to escape…is now putting them back in prison?

Chance was the first music to make me realize that (music) pop culture has totally passed me by; I can't see what anyone likes in anything he's done. This might be the most annoying, incomprehensibly popular music I've ever heard.

Well, I mean, if we're ripping off other franchises, why not stick with the 80s and go full Brood saga…everyone loves the Alien series, right?

I see what you did there…wait, we're you serious?

Sounds great! Now who'll play his female companion? /zing

Give it an hour. ABC will preemptivly cancel this, too.

The 80s were actually three of four different decades: 80 - 82 was very different than 84-85 which was different than 85-87. 88-89 were basically the early 90s except for Disintegration, also known as The Cure's Best Album.

So, everyone forgot about She Wants Revenge, I guess?

Yep. I ragequit that game after *almost* beating the Arkham Knight's tank for the 100th time. Watched the rest of the game on YouTube and realized I wasn't missing a damn thing. Terrible final chapter to an otherwise excellent trilogy of games.

CINEMAX? Ain't nobody got time for that -

While Micheal Biehn was great this lead to him landing the lead in Navy SEALS..which was, in retrospect, a terrible career move.

"…a who’s-who of “people who were in cool movies in the ’90s." NEEDS MORE JIM CAREY.

"I saw Green Day in 4th grade" makes me feel older than the oldest old person. Then I remember that Dookie came out in 1994 which still seems like six months ago to me and then I realize it was 22 goddamn YEARS ago and I feel even older.

So, quick poll on what pseudo-holiday Marshal will vandalize for his next movie? Administrative Assistants' Day? Grandparents' Day?

Loved this book. Didn't even know it had been optioned for a film, much less actually made and released. Do they even advertise movies without superheroes anymore?
