It wasn't just extreme weather out of nowhere. Much of the dust came from bad farming techniques, where farmers were encouraged to farm in such a way that the topsoil was powdered, and there wasn't enough water to hold it together. Poor plannnng and wishful thinking had as much to do with it as anything.

They found some cnuts, how about some sickles & galleons?

Still got my copy in storage. I was such a huge Xmen/Byrne fan. Maybe I'll bust it out. Thanks for the memories!

Haha! He could help come up a theme song for the library!

I assume the talking animals were The Musicians of Bremen, otherwise why drop that name. As far as the swans, I assume they were the enchanted princesses of Swan Lake. I was delighted to see Rene Aberjunois is still alive, and that Jonathan Frakes has a full time job. I do have to ask: Is every cheap fantasy sand

What the heck? That's the voice actor who did Galaxy Rangers, with the same primitive computer animation. It looks like a Japanese import. I wonder if it was the same company.

But it's not in Butte County.

In the comic Ménage a 3, one of the main characters, Zii, tracks down a child troll and threatens to out him to his mom. Its a great strategy, and a great comic, if a little risqué.

I know this is old news to you young whippersnappers out there, but I waited years to see this film. And I loved it, even the original theater version.

this could have been so much more. I felt it was a set of drawings to go along with a fact sheet.

It wasn't terrible, but I don't remember it being amazing, the way the film was. There are any number of stories creepier—Steven King turns them out by the boat load—but the film is unique.

The Birds isn't that great a story compared to the Hitchcock film.

I love the flattened claymation look with animation over it. Keep in mind Futurama et al also have 3-D animation mixed in.

currently, I KNOW when I'm pointing my phone at a QR code. What happens when every light in my photo is trying to talk to my phone?

I'm anticipating a 2nd season based on Gull's vision of the future. He manages to stay in the future, acquires a time-traveling DeLorean and has adventures with Emily Dickinson.

thanks, I figured it's moving dang quick, and I know it'll swing around quickly, but handy a clue where it was on that journey. So Philae will go on to the edge of the solar a system.

So where is the darn comet? I can't find any referents. Inside earth orbit? Mars? Off the ecliptic? You'd think the net would be abuz in diagrams & wire frames. Can't find nothin!

Everyone dug his blonde locks, and deep, dazzling, ice-blue eyes.

Apple gave them a boatload of money, with a "B," that they are out of. selling the furnaces won't bring it back. And several people at GTAT were selling stock before announcing that they were going belly up. I don't think there are many angels to be found on either side.

didn't read every post, but I LOVED the initial scene, with three parallel fights between trainers and Mentors. Laurel has to become Black Canary now that she's being trained by Wildcat.
