The NoReset Games Team are the ones who made the official randomizer mode which was remade from scratch and doesn’t use the code from the original mod.

To be honest that’s just Jason’s opinion. I’ve played through the whole game multiple times and the platforming and controls are tight and very rewarding. It’s really good from the beginning. Give it a shot.
