I'm a veteran of Demon's Souls (got my Platinum) and just started Dark Souls, but I'm having trouble with one aspect of the game. I see hints, and mention in forums of the need to jump to get to certain areas/items. How does one do that? For instance *SPOILERS*, when you go up the stairs from the bonfire toward

Actually, the thing to do is run forward off of it and hit R1 as you're falling to do a falling attack. Does a massive amount of damage to him.

I agree that some aspects need to change. . .but ultimately Uncharted is a character driven story with an Indiana Jones backdrop. By changing the nature of the character, you are changing the entire universe. Adding characters, changing elements of the story, all of that is fine. But completely redefining

The game was about a selfish, flirting, treasure hunter who ended up getting himself into more trouble than he anticipated. There was no business with families, meting out justice, or anything of the sort.

The Uncharted movie idea wasn't panned by fans and critics because of "relatively minor changes".

Everyonce in a while they really get it right on these shows. There was an episode of Duck Dodgers that featured Dave Mustaine and Megadeth.

I would highly recommend the Risk 2012 variant. It restricts the game to 5 turns, which is still a lengthy game, but adds a good deal of strategy toward the end of the game. You also get cards which grant you bonuses in all areas of the game. It's well designed and a lot of fun.

A good chunk of the players now are in the mid to late 20's. These are people who were in Junior High and High School when the game launched or they got into it for the first time. Now they have the time and resources to invest in a CCG. The competitive scene is actually fairly impressive with events drawing

Not sure that I agree with the "It was the least of Trek". . .but I suppose it depends on how you mean it.

While I love Wilfred, it doesn't really compare to the pilots listed above.

For what it's worth, blood does not boil in space:

That's a fair assessment, he wrapped a tried and true formula in a great setting.

There's some plausibility to needing a technologically advanced suit (not filled with gadgets, just being beyond our current level of tech) to avoid the suit tearing, burning, or just falling apart while Superman does his craziness (super speed, flying, deflecting bullets, etc).

Is he really that great of a storyteller though? The original series has some pretty serious similarities to the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Not sure how much it will help how you feel, but he will have a cape. They are likely doing test runs and/or working out the logistics of scenes before adding in the cape. There are images of him out there with it on.

Not all actors are in it for the money. Sometimes a great script gets the attention of someone and they do it for pennies on the dollar. Look at Willem Dafoe in The Boondock Saints. His going rate for a movie was probably 3-4x the entire budget of that movie.

A long time ago, I had to separate the artists from the entertainers and on the same token, I had to separate the music that I respected from the music that I liked. Those categories do overlap sometimes, but not always. Lady Gaga is the perfect example of artistry and entertainment overlapping.

I am a die hard rock fan. I listen to metal, hard rock, alternative, classic rock, and even some oldies. I also have an appreciation for artistry in music. People who write their own music, produce their own stuff, etc. Lady Gaga is this weird enigma to me in that I shouldn't like her music at all, it falls into a

+1

My issue with the entire series of movies have been the humans. I have no issue with the transformers, it's how the humans interact with each other and with the transformers.
