@commander_k: Yeah, plasmas are definitely the way to go for 3D (and in general) if picture quality and color accuracy are a concern. There are some drawbacks of course (the heat they put out and the power they draw) but overall, my money is still on plasma.

@charcar543: Actually, more sophisticated dictionary attacks could easily guess at passwords like that.

Seriously...I would use this if I were protecting Tron or something, but I'm not...I don't want to bust out the Rosetta stone every time I log into Gmail. . .the method I use probably isn't AS secure, but I choose a relatively long phrase and use the acronym for it with some symbols and numbers. For instance, if I

@Ding-Dang: "The closer you look, the worse it gets. For a feature in a 1986 issue of Discover Magazine (via the Straight Dish), Penny Moser took samples of dust from her home to a lab, where she took a look at a couple of them through a microscope"

@Ryan: I think you might have missed the point of short stories and film shorts. They generally provide little to no set up and very little resolution. Granted, there are several exceptions out there, but most are there to give you an idea of a world that could be and then let you fill in the blanks. The questions

What's that thing he's shooting at? It looks like some giant robotic snake/dragon/beast/thing. It's body seems to extends behind it...I'm confused.

@Instantpontaneous: haha I think what he's saying is that he would probably have sex with this phone if he was able to. I used to describe the desirability of a car by how much I wanted to have sex with it.

@Arken: Yeah, it kind of shimmered and was a gradient for a bit then the other color took over.

@Squimpleton: It would add a serious amount of girth to an already bulky *portable* system.

@Squimpleton: The PSP doesn't have R2 or L2 either, so it has all of the controls (if not more because there appears to be the equivalent of a right analog stick) of the PSP.

@Squimpleton: There are definitely shoulder buttons on the back. As far as analog sticks, there's a touch sensitive area in the center that acts as the analog stick.

@Chumley_Marchbanks: That's Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Gingerbread was originally going to be 3.0, but they didn't have time to update the UI the way they had planned, so they are pushing an intermediate release, 2.3 and 3.0 is now considered Honeycomb.

@shaunmcilroy: The analog sticks have been replaced with the touch sensitive strip you see in the center. I'm getting the little marks in that strip are probably raised dimples so you know where center is with your thumbs.

Aside from Samsung's Cinema Mode, I disagree that most TVs are fine out of the box. They are usually set to Showroom settings which are incredibly saturated and way way way too bright.

@hartleyhaverty: They are referring to the characters. In the movie (you know, with the actors), Katie (played by an actor) killed Micah (also played by an actor). So the clip from Paranormal Activity 2 (another movie also with actors), they show Katie (played by the same actor from the first) making an excuse for

@Blackti3: I'm with FrankN.Stein here. Drag Me To Hell was the perfect love letters to the fans of campy 80's horror flicks that are simply fun to watch without any real thought required.

@EdificeComplex: We were watching it last night and my roommate asks "Where have I heard the term Lamia before?" and I responded "It was the demon in Drag Me To Hell" just moments before the neighbor comes over to talk to Bobby about that very movie.

@tiredtyrant: The lore in EVE doesn't really lend itself to what you're suggesting. Pilots are inside of pods that interface with their nervous system allowing a single pilot to control an entire ship.

@KilgoreTrout_XL: Skip world 1-2 and jump into World 2-1. Then 3-1, 4-1, then back to 1-2. By then you should have leveled enough and picked up enough equipment to make world 1-2 much easier (granted, the dragon will still kill you if you get hit, so you need to learn the pattern and be able to run through to the
