@thegreatpablo: Further more, for those claiming copy cat, you guys should check out a little piece of technology called the Xavixport (www.xavix.com).

@iHowiz: Hrm, my earliest comment that I can find on Kotaku is from October 16, 2007. gabmed's is July 26th 2010.

@iHowiz: hah Touche! I'd be interested to know who had their's first. ;)

I see a lot of "copy cat" accusations in these comments...and yes, it's true. But the number of original ideas out there are very minimal and some of the best products on the market are copies of someone else's idea and made better. Is that bad? No! It's what drives the market forward.

@rebelphoenix1983: But isn't the SNES pad just an NES pad with a few extra buttons and the NES pad just an Atari control pad with a D-pad instead of joystick?

@Knoxximus Kiryu: This is not a Sony ad. This was created by Wolfbreeder.

@Spanone: It depends on what you consider to be a full experience. How many Wii games use the nunchuck as well as the Wiimote when there are more than 2 players?

@mrfrostynova: This is not a Sony ad. This was created by Wolfbreeder.

@gabmed: haha I've had mine for a few years now.

@Batman: haha Just giving you a hard time, I figured you were talking about WotLK.

@Batman: Cataclysm's out?

@my claim to fame is: Sony is officially launching it on the 19th, however shipments went out early to a lot of stores and Sony isn't enforcing the street date, so if they have them in stock, they can sell them.

@KingArkon: I'm confused, every preview I read said that the Move is on par if not slightly more accurate than the Wii with Wii motion plus.

@Ldubbz: Gamestop determines whether they are going to do a midnight launch for a game (or in this case a peripheral) based on general buzz and (this one is super important) pre-orders. Without enough interest from pre-orders, they don't do it.

@Lyokowarirtitan: Many products on the market simply take someone else's idea and make it better. Afterall, isn't the Nintendo just a copy of the Coleco which is a copy of the Atari, which is a copy of the Odyssey?

@KingArkon: With the black Wii and the classic controller, can they make it any more obvious that they are trying to directly copy Sony?

@homernoy: Unfortunately, style is not a factor here. The orb is 100% functional. The software uses the orb's relative size to determine how close or far away the move controller is, which allows it to track depth. Also, while the color changing aspect can be used to highlight gameplay mechanics (as seen in the

@Dumbledore Calrissian: It's officially being released on the 19th, however shipments went out early to some stores and Sony isn't enforcing the street date, so stores that got them early are able to sell them early.

@ArchStanton42: I could be wrong, but I think that aside from very special circumstances, they have to actually close the store and kick everyone out as part of their policy. And when they open back up again, they can only sell you the items you preordered or that have released that day.
