@Crowbot: I fail to see how a developer charging for their addons is Sony's fault.

@9a3eedi: Yeah, the jailbreak thing is thrown out a lot and it's true, but I'm talking about of the box, intended by the developer experience.

@LeonX84: The live wallpaper feature itself isn't new...or news for that matter. It came out earlier this year with the N1. As I mentioned in another comment though, almost everything Apple has been doing over the last few major releases has been in an attempt to catch up to other smart phones (not just Android).

@shloopa: Let's not forget that Android isn't tied to a single piece of software like iTunes. Yes, it lacks a great one, but DoubleTwist works just fine, and there are other options available to suit your needs.

@Silentkiller2774: Nothing good at the moment unless you go all in and buy a Nexus One ($530). Samsung is giving AT&T their first real taste of Android (the current offerings like the Backflip are pretty lame compared to what other carriers have). Unfortunately, I've never trusted Samsung as a phone manufacturer,

@alex.g.newman: While the iPhone has definitely added some new features that are unique to Apple, their last few major updates have all been busy playing catch up to Android and it's features. Multitasking, background wallpapers, desktop folders, MMS, the display, etc.

@Nawara_Ven: Shooting sounds incredibly lame in this made up game of our's, not something I would want to stand and do for 3-4 hours at a time.

@ShadowStorm14: This is something that I've thought of, but it goes against the entire philosophy behind Kinect...no controller.

@Nawara_Ven: Let's go with your marine in space. How do you fire your gun? Is Kinect precise enough to track the movement of your trigger finger? How do you aim?

One of the biggest problems I've tried to point out in the past with Kinect when it comes to non-casual games is that it's incredibly hard to map gestures and movements to in game commands without them coming off as completely arbitrary. Just as an example, having to jump to reload a gun (I know that probably won't

@xxXX_Insanities_Birth_XXxx: Not going to mention your other points, but Valve has been pretty clear since The Orange Box that they will not be doing any development for the PS3. Gabe even said during his presentation that he's been very outspoken against the PS3. So yes, it was a big surprise for a lot of people.

@Y-bot: His speech was geared toward the great divide between casual and core gamers. His message was that we are all gamers and that although core gamers have made fun of the "waggle" on the Wii for years now, we need to set aside those differences and embrace what we have in common rather than our differences. It

@Agent55: I think "decent" is a bit of an overstatement. I'm assuming you're talking about a HTIB...and in the audio world, there's really no such thing as a good HTIB. They make too many sacrifices with the quality to bring the cost down.

@Torokun: It's insulting that they are preparing a premium offering that will be in addition to what they already offer that's completely optional to you, and as far as I can tell, will not affect your ability to play games in any way?

@Boogalooshrimp: It's not forced on you, it's an option in the game. No need to spin it off into its own game.

@Alex_Mexico: I would say that MGS3 is equally as important as 1 and 2 in terms of understanding the story in 4. There are plenty of references, characters, and even important twists that deal with 3.
