@FrankenPC: Only if you find yourself needing to play file formats or packages (like mkv specifically) that the PS3 can't handle. I spent a little bit of money and built out a linux file sharing machine (also acting as my router/gateway now), a 2TB HDD, and the WDTV Live and love it.

@iwhat: There have been about 4 or 5 updates to my WDTV Live since I bought it and many issues and bugs have been fixed...not sure what you're referring to.

@Sabbatai: While I'm certain that this isn't the case, I've always believed that it is your responsibility to maintain security.

@qwerty613: I think a lot of the "meh" feeling comes from the fact that for the most part, it's just catching up with some of the newer phones on the market, and in cases where it has taken the lead....it has only barely done so. On top of that, other phone manufacturers have a full year to catch up before another

@ComplicitOwl: Instead of being an asshat in your response, you'd garner a lot more respect and credibility by simply answering the question without peppering it with smart ass remarks.

@ComplicitOwl: You have a link for that? Only things I find are these two:

@Sloopydrew: "Why, when Blu provides more space, is the game shorter?" Higher resolution textures, more audio, better audio, etc. More space doesn't have to mean longer game play. You could fit 5-6 seasons of a TV show on a single Bluray because of how much space it has, but it wouldn't be high definition.

Kotaku already reported on a story where Dhani Harrison said he was working on a way for RB3 to teach people how to play instruments rather than emulate it.

@Spoony Bard: EA's CEO is John Riccetello or however you spell it. Didn't have to consult the internet for that.

@Bloodoflamb: Since WoW was released and they scraped together 11.5 million subscribers.

@JamesRios: Have to remember that in most games like this, the models are low polygon in order to fit MUCH more on the screen at once without causing your computer to have a stroke.

@d20Dark: I'm not entirely certain that a demo will really do this game justice and you should really give it a chance. Granted, I haven't played this game, but I'd imagine that playing the demo is like trying to convey the depth of character and story in a movie like Schindler's List in a 2 minute trailer...there's

@TRT-X: I highly doubt that's the case. More like, as is the case in almost every single exclusivity deal, Microsoft ponied up and paid Harmonix to give them exclusive rights to it where Nintendo and Sony wouldn't. Whether or not someone is a bad guy in that scenario is subjective.

@poodleface: I'm with you. I bought PS...BWB and it's nearly impossible on drums.

I am ridiculously excited for this...however I'm a little wary as well. Megadeth and Dream Theater are the two bands on Rockband currently that completely destroy me when playing on Expert. There's now way I'm NOT buying Megadeth, but it may never get beaten.

@ex_nihilo: I am going to be blasting this album all the way home today...cannot wait for this next week!

@C_MaN15: Metallica is firmly in bed with Guitar Hero/Activision. Don't expect Metallica on Rockband anytime soon.
