There were more aspects to the death mechanics that weren't really covered in this article.

@Black-Dog-Howls: Yeah, my guess is that this game will be region free when it launches in NA.

Hoping my imported copy of Demon's Souls arrives, I'll be playing that if it does. I'll also be spending a significant amount of time playing with my new Palm Pre. :)

@Solidius: What? You go get it right now. I don't want to hear a word about it. Ah ah ah...no. You go get it now.

50KP - Half-Life 2: Episode Three unveiled for PC and Xbox 360 (3:1)

@John-irl: This kind of an API could really open up the possibilities down the road.

@FatalChaos: In just about every scene with Dr. Manhattan, and there are quite a few. While it can be distracting, there's no attention given to it at all in the movie, which makes it easy to see past.

@JohnHype: You must have blocked it out mentally then...because it was hardly scarce.

@nip: Not sure how this isn't a big deal. For me, and probably quite a few people out there, the lack of DLC for Fallout 3 was one of the biggest disappointments of last year and this year so far (as far as games are concerned anyway). After they gave us some hope with trophy support, we held out hope that DLC would

@CasualGeek: My guess would be a simple lack of stress testing. There are a lot of aspects to games that get uncovered when thousands of people start hammering away on it that you would never have found when only a few hundred were testing.

@Superhacker75mil: As far as I can tell they used one Blind Guardian song and it's the for the opening cinematic.

@David Whitney: It's a confluence of very good design in multiple areas. On their own, the individual parts of Uncharted aren't amazing or groundbreaking (except maybe the visuals), but put together, they form a very solid and enjoyable package. AI is good, gunplay is above average, character design/acting/modeling

@PhatsMahoney: Unfortunately not. You can't drop items. There have been several proposed work arounds, like dropping the item, using your hero's chest (in town inventory), etc. But none of them work.

@zgreenwell: "Sacred 2 lends credence to the claim that console ports in a genre normally reserved for the PC can work. In fact, with the exception of menu interfaces and loading times in towns, this is actually better than the PC version"

@sqlrob: It's true that there's no local trading yet. Ascaron is making it sound like it'll be patched in the next few days. So we'll see.

@zgreenwell: I haven't really played it on PCs, but a good number of reviewers have stated that it's a better experience on consoles.

@randomspirits: Seems to work pretty well. It seems to target the nearest creature to you in your field of vision. There are some oddities here and there. In a cave in particular, there was a rat close by and my dryad (basically an archer) was targeting something way off in the distance rather than the rat. Took a
