I think this is the first time one of my tips was published! Makes me feel all warm and gooey inside.

@thegreatpablo: woops, lrn2read nub (directed at me). Didn't see the 's' in months. ;)

@Bluetribal: Farther back than a month ago. This was mentioned casually at Blizzcon last year.

@ThePhantomPatriot: Microsoft actually takes a bigger cut than Sony does for games and addons hosted on their service. Granted, because of the install base of the 360, they'll get a better return.

I suppose that's what I get for leaving any part of my post open for speculation.

@Hey_Blinkon: Little bleach will take care of it.

I'm not entirely certain how I feel about this. Part of me is revolted, part of me is amused, and part of me...I dunno. Something.

Quite a bit more Megadeth love here than I would have expected. This would be a day one purchase for me. Whether DLC or on disc, I would much prefer it to come to Rockband though.

@Brlito: When you look at the industry standard, other games charges for most of the content that Blizzard has been releasing for free. SOE would have milked everything in the past 4 years and turned it into 5 or 6 expansions...or more, rather than 2 paid expansions.

@laio: As I noted in a response above, Blizzard announced at Blizzcon that work on SC2 was pretty much on hold until D3 was completed.

@Abel_Prisc: They announced at Blizzcon that SC2 was put on hold and resources were diverted to finishing D3.

@-itis: They should take a lesson from the CEO of Starbucks. He was getting a $12 million/year salary and when they announced the store closures and lay offs, he reduced his salary to $48/year ($2 per pay period).

@Superpiccolo: I've applauded Riccitiello for the changes he's made over the past few years. Focusing on original IPs and innovation rather than recycling the tried and true. Sure, some didn't do as well as they could have (Mirror's Edge), but others I thought were incredibly well done (Dead Space).

@Tyheam: They announced at Blizzcon that SC2 would be on hold until Diablo 3 was released...perhaps that's what got it on the list?

@ChibiKyKiske: hah If you close your eyes and listen, it sounds a bit like Mike Portnoy on the kit. Would be interested to know how much this guy was influenced by Dream Theater.

@Pentaro Penguin: Despite your karma post above, this is well said. Opinions of the game aside, it's sad news when individuals and their families are effected by things like this.

@Pentaro Penguin: Karma? For what? They made a product that sells...how does that deserve any sort of retribution?

I want to point out, if it hasn't already been noted, that this is not the first MSFT online store for boxed products. They've had store.microsoft.com for years. It just looks like they've received an overhaul.

Criterion is quickly becoming one of my favorite developers.

@detto: I know every gamer is a bit different, but I didn't find Uncharted's hard mode to be all that difficult, especially when compared to other games like Dead Space.
