I thought Lex liked reporters, there are times when he’s told Clark Kent that he really admires him, and he’s shown respect for Lois many times. Also not sure if Lex is a racist, I haven’t read that many Superman comics but he strikes me as the type who would use or respect anyone of intelligence.
