yep. They attempt to use a copyright as if it were a trademark, and shit like this happens. ALL THE TIME. Because the can.
These range from the totally benign to super creepy.
Imagine the future where our kids and grandkids just get to play one new main stream FF in their lifetime because it takes SE ages to make the game. Man we were so lucky!
I love 2D games but also have trouble paying $60 for some of them. Long after beating Mario 3D World or Skyrim or even Mario Kart, I will go back and try to get behind a boss’ chair, or turn around at the start and look up, or just aimlessly wander. I paid $10 for Skyrim. Its been 8 years since i bought Oblivion for…
To be fair, if you take out the Rare games that Nintendo cannot publish (including Diddy Kong because it has Banjo, and a non-foul-mouthed Conker), if you take out games that Nintendo doesn’t have a license to (Star Wars, WWF, NFL, NBA, MLB), if you take out games that are available in a graphically superior form on…
The real joke is that Microsoft owns Rare and it has to use games from another Era and on another Console to show that they used to be allowed to make great games.
As a Wii U owner who wants more content on the eshop period, I am all for these types of complaints. Nintendo needs to wake up. I am willing to give them money, but they don’t let me, no matter how ludicrously easy it would be for them.
I’ve been lead to believe it’s Keza, but Kinja is the only true overlord that knows ;)
That there are cameras in the office corridors that aren’t there for security, but rather to monitor the movements of Konami’s own employees.
That is not the Dr Mario ad music I’ve had stuck in my head for twenty-five years...
None what-so-ever. Had a Netherland Dwarf bunny when I was kid, she would have moments of ‘crazies’ where she’d tear off like a sprinter and do circuits around the house. The whole time I’d watch her and go “Bun, bun, bun bun!” Then she’d get bored with it and chase our shelties who otherwise ignored her.
Maybe in any other situation, but after reading Yoot Saito’s post about working with Satoru Iwata, I can’t help but think it seems entirely appropriate:
I’m so sorry. I think there is some swinging of the pendulum toward “father’s rights” without keeping the best interests of the kids at the very forefront.
I’m not saying both parent’s rights shouldn’t be protected and given equal consideration. But ultimately it is about the kids.
I’m gearing up for a battle with my…
My heart really hurts, like I almost cried...it feels like a part of Nintendo’s heart died yesterday.
