As far as I know, all food banks take donations of not just diapers, but hygiene supplies for adults as well (tampons, pads, soap) and things like new packages of underwear and socks. Homeless shelters also lust after that stuff.

Better solution: the Feds need to revamp the rules for assets for folks on welfare, foodstamps, SSI and medicaid.
