Was Odin Sphere really that bad? I heard the game was supposed to be pretty good. Was wondering because I was considering getting either the original PS2 version or holding out for the PS3 HD rerelease.

At first I was miserable that Trails of the Sky wasn’t going to do physical releases of the game, but I found out the first part is on GOG, as soon as the sequel goes up I am buying them. That way I can peacefully burn myself a physical backup copy without having to deprogram a bunch of stuff
Yeah, but so where Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, but because of some creative omission, they were able to stick them into the Avengers. Pretty nifty considering they are children of one of the more prominent mutants.
The fact that we’re getting a Deadpool movie gives me a little ray of hope that Squirrel Girl in a movie isn’t impossible.
I freaking love Good Old Games, people need to throw more love towards them than Steam.
Short answer, you’re boned. It’s why I’m not overly fond of Steam. For a year I didn’t have internet and couldn’t play Portal because their system requires an online connection once every 24 hours to use the offline mode.
That’s what I keep wondering as well. I love Level-5, so I’m hoping this is something I can get my teeth into.
Nope, definitely real life Lex Luthor:
I’m with ya, girl. I’m ace as hell, but still:
Yeah, tape for binding is ALWAYS a bad idea. Same with ace bandages. Always go with a binder.
This is what I’ve come to. Waiting all weekend and getting jazzed over concept art. Still hyped though. If game would come out during my lifetime that would be nice though.
One of the guest stars was Alice Cooper and the episode with Vincent Price had a song from A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. A story about a slave conning a brothel into getting a virgin married off to his master. Kids could watch it in the same manner as the Simpsons.
If someone understands intellectual property laws better than this, please correct me if I’m wrong but...
Ditto. I’ve been wanting to get a Wii, and then a WiiU, but the games and the support make me reluctant to bother with it. Meanwhile their handheld catalog is stunning. Both the homegrown stuff (Link Between Worlds, Pokemon X/Y) and the 3rd party (Bravely/Default, Persona Q) just makes my wallet weep.
Mm, Squeenix is better than most but they still have that niggling tendency to report games that have already been reported a billion times. Want FFIV? Pick a version, any version. Want Threads of Fate? Hope you still have a working PS1/PS2.
That makes sense. I was just wondering.
I’m curious why you dislike 2-D platformers. Is it because you think it isn’t as advanced tech, or is just a style thing? Because still being 2-D doesn’t equate to not being an advanced game. It’s like saying a 3-D animated cartoon is automatically superior to a hand-drawn, 2-D film.
The dress is neat, but my god her handbag! *I’m a total CCS whore*
Yeah, random encounters are SUCH an outdated system, and FF encounter rates tend to be ridiculously high. It made exploring and stuff really annoying because backtracking or going to alternete routes meant 9000 different attacks with the area’s local mooks. With Bravely/Default you could turn the encounters OFF. So if…
Wow, I had never heard that one before about being told to be a doctor for free because ‘saving lives is its own reward’. People are idiots.
