This is something that has snuck up on me the past couple of years, but: I think LeBron is the best basketball player of all time. I think Michael Jordan (up to this point)has had the best basketball career. Does this distinction make sense?

Fuck YOURSELF if you think the league should be able to stop players from getting paid what they are worth. If the league didn’t decide that KD and Lebron couldn’t make more than players like Horford and DeRozan than this wouldn’t be a problem in the first place.

The max contract creates this issue because teams don’t have to pay players like lebron and KD what they are actually worth thus allowing them to add lots of other stars around them.

Complete oversimplification, but it seems like Wall raises a team beyond its expectations, whereas Paul’s teams fall short every time. And with all due respect to the circumstances (untimely injuries, Doc Rivers) causing the latter to weigh against Paul, I go with Wall any day of the week.

Honest question: would you rather start John Wall or Chris Paul, right now? Because, for me, it’s been John Wall since last season.
