Good an explanation as any. It’s not as though sending off players that late in a game really hurts either team. Just try and get to the final horn with as few casualties as possible.

I for one was way tenser than I probably should’ve been when the score was 4-2.

I have to imagine you’re right, but LeBron could potentially get more help from his guys another night.

Man, so LeBron is going to have to put of 50+ a night to keep this series competitive, and even then they might not win one.

I actually liked Rick’s verse, but yeah, Kanye’s was easily the worst moment of the album.

Seven tracks could be seen as a little short changing, but they’re all killer. Had a moment where I considered giving this one a pass, since I’m super fed up with Kanye, but I’m glad I got past that. Dude can still make beats, even if he’s lost the plot.

Art Crawl, Spaghetti Western and Meatballs, and Torpedo are gems from season one, but overall that season is uneven enough that I’d still tell a newbie to start with season two, then circle back.

I felt the same way. Say what you will about Apu’s inherent offensiveness, but they could not have picked a worse way to address the issue. Literally doing nothing would’ve been a better option.

Another reason Gene is the best.

Nope, new episodes at 7:30 and 9:30 this week. The 7:00 one was a rerun

Season 1 is spotty at best. There are a few episodes that are worth revisiting, but the show really needed to get a handle on Bob, Linda, and especially Tina before it became the show it is. I usually tell people to start with “The Belchies” if they’re interested in the show.

Two good episodes. I thought the second was better than the first, if only because it was very focused where the first one was a little overstuffed. Still, a fitting close to a very good, if rarely great in the way the best Bob’s episodes can be, season.

Probably a B episode to me. Didn’t love the first act (Smoothie Lady seemed like kind of a throwback to the Weirdo-of-the-week structure of the show’s early seasons, while Linda enabling Gayle is my least favorite Linda). But Regular Sized Rudy’s appearance coincided with the episode turning around

I think that was this episode’s biggest problem: we’re supposed to be on Tina’s side, but the other kids are right. She’s ruining things for everyone and probably should quit. It’s not even like she has some greater purpose for being there aside from being a hormonal teenager (which, yeah we’ve all been there, but

I dunno about ‘bad’, since I can think of at least five worse off the top of my head, and a bad Bob’s episode is generally a good half hour of TV. That said, this is in no way Bob’s at its best. A Tina-heavy episode with minimal input from the rest of the family? They’ve made it work before, but this was not one of

Line of the episode, easily.

I’m usually the one arguing for higher grades on a given Bob’s episode, but no way this one was an A. A-plot was kinda weak (I was on the side of the other junior lifeguards more than Tina, and I don’t think that was the intent) and the b-plot barely existed. Always great to see Sgt. Bosco, but Bob, Linda, and Teddy

Anthony Hopkins in the Thor movies always kinda reminded me of Alec Guinness in Star Wars. He’s too much of a pro not to give it a good effort, but if you squint, it isn’t hard to see him rolling his eyes at how silly it all is.

The Lady Gaga collaboration remains especially baffling to me. A song whose chorus goes “Do what you want with my body” with R fucking Kelly? How was there no one in the room saying “ Hold on, even if all the accusations against this dude are false (and they’re not. He was married to a 14 year old, and that’s a matter
