Gene and Bob is probably the least explored Belcher pairing (apart from maybe Gene and Tina) but it’s my favorite.

I said the same thing! And she probably does sneak into his room and take stuff!

Also: “Gimme some smokes! I want bourbon!” And “Whatever, hippie”. Gene had a good night on the sidelines.

“Oh, it’s super safe, except for that huge unsolved murder that’s gonna happen” has to be a top-ten Louise threat.

Living through Spiceworld again would be a small price to pay if I could retain my memories of the next 22(!) years and act accordingly.

I have to imagine any potential benefits for New England moving to Atlantic time would be outweighed by the inconveniences of not being on the same time as the rest of the East Coast megapolis.

Despite near-constant recommendations from the AV Club, I didn’t give Gravity Falls a shot until after the series had already ended ( don’t have kids, wasn’t particularly interested in a kids’ show). Then I happened to catch a couple episodes in reruns, was charmed, then proceeded to knock out the whole series over a

It was always going to end, because all things do. Everyone loses eventually.

We did just have a Tom Hanks reference last episode though, even if it was two months ago.

Actually, thinking about it a little more, the reviewer is right that the episode does take a little longer than it needs to to settle its focus on Gene. Up until she joins in playing Ga-ga Ball, it seemed like this episode was going to be Louise-centric (and probably would’ve turned into Louise vs Frond part 36,

Doesn’t help when the show goes two months between episodes. Makes it kind of easy to lose track.

Huh, I thought this was more of a B+/A- type of episode. Wagstaff-centric episodes are always a treat, mostly because the school has the show’s highest concentration of great secondary characters. I did feel like the Linda-and-Teddy side plot did drag a little, but they payoff was pretty good.

You may be right, not sure what the rules are there. Still, maybe send an assistant coach off with him. Get him off the floor because a) he just messed up bad, and b) removing him from the situation is the best way to ensure an actual fight doesn’t break out.

I would hope a brawl was averted because Centralia’s coach IMMEDIATELY sent the kid to the locker room.

I have to imagine they were a little stunned

Jesus, I hope that kid’s ok.

Saw that. Kid is nuts.

I was always a much better 100 Flyer, but I had a decent 200. That said, once I got to college and had to swim the 200 at every meet, while only doing the 100 at big meets... yeah, I knew my days of competitive swimming were numbered.

Trying to take myself out of a political mindset here, but I can’t help but think this would end up being a more fun day for the Warriors, regardless of who’s in office. On one hand, go to the White House in your suits, pose awkwardly for a few photos, see a big house that is mostly a museum. On the other, go hang out
