I did think for a second it could’ve been Mr. Ambrose, or maybe Ms. Selbo, since they can both be kinda crazy, but once Millie was ruled out it couldn’t have been a student. It would’ve felt kind of cheap to introduce a previously unseen student who was Millie-level crazy, and none of the existing kids fit the bill.
There was also the highchair bit in the Sacred Couch episode, but that’s the only other time I can think of.
Not to trace everything back to the Simpsons, but Tina sort of has a Lisa thing going on, in that her classmates can be her friends, or not, as the story requires, but she doesn’t have a best friend.
Really, Frond was oddly calm about the whole thing. If it hadn’t been him, he’d have spent the whole first part of the episode in hysterics.
Yeah, I guess we haven’t seen her since the sleepover episode. I’d sort of put her in the category with Tina’s friend Dillon from the hotel episode last season. Probably not turning up again, though at least Jessica lives in the same town.
I would’ve liked the closing credits number to have been done in a Choking Victim style for that reason, but that would be a pretty obscure joke, even by this show’s standards.
We don’t get a lot of Gene and Tina one on one on this show, but when we do it’s usually pretty funny.
At first I thought that we’d see a bit more of Millie’s psychotic side, given the episode’s title and all, but I suppose toning her down a bit and pointing towards the possibility of a (very strange) friendship with Louise was probably the best move for the character.
He’s history’ greatest monster!
+1 through the tears
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be. World without end......
Desirable, even.
At least this’ll be a nice memory tomorrow when the bats go cold again and the Nats are eliminated with a whimper, as is the rule for Washington sports teams.
The idea of a “Hall Of Fame” for something as subjective as art is still kinda stupid. Really, it just gives us something to argue about once a year.
“Steve!”
Honestly, I’m always a little surprised to see this show at all before Halloween. Then we get three holidays in a row and it’s goodbye again until the end of January. At least it’s not an Adult Swim show where we have to wait years between seasons, so thanks for that at least, Fox.
There’s a point here that I don’t think gets brought up often enough: the utter uselessness of someone with a concealed carry in a situation like this. Picture the scene: active gunman shooting at a crowd of civilians. Civilian pulls out his or her concealed weapon. Now, in addition to dealing with the shooter, law…
A perfect FunBoy3 moment.
Between that and Dan Belcher becoming Tina Belcher, Bob’s Burgers may be the best example of the benefits of cooperate oversight ever.
