How come all crypto articles on G/O Media sites are negative?  At least one a day and total sensationalism.

I’m not going to defend today’s NFTs or say that a lot of them aren’t created with stolen artwork or that a lot of the electricity used to encrypt and verify them isn’t generated from non-renewable sources, BUT, there appears to be a misconception here that an NFT can’t be copied. Well, it can’t, stay with me. A copy

I’m not on board with NFT’s as they currently stand, but I can always get behind new technology and/or ideas spawning new art. So imagine my disappointment when the article about an art project relating to a contentious new technology has nearly zero info about the artist, the piece of art they created, why it was

I’m down to dunk on NFT’s and all, but the jokes have to get better.

It’s more that Kotaku doesn’t understand NFTs and crypto.

That’s only on the Ethereum network and only in its current form. Ethereum has way more demand than its network can handle at the moment, and can only handle 13 transactions per second. It’s also why the fees to conduct transactions on Ethereum are nuts right now (a single transaction can cost $500 or more in fees,

Isn’t this just Steam Trading Cards?

Sure I’ll try. Granted you might not care about any of them:

Not that anyone here will understand but there are plenty of carbon neutral NFTs. Taking a hard stance and not being open to innovation is not a great way to succeed. Blockchain has its benefits, completely being close minded just creates bigots.

Came here to say cryptobros are the worst, happy to find one I can direct it at.

This article isn’t going to age well

You’re acting like this is somehow at odds.

And?

Oh man, you didn’t check in to see how this insane stretch of a nothing-burger was getting roasted over at The Root? Cause it’s getting no traction there, and it feels like their readership should know.

I play on PC, and account being locked to PSN without allowing login to other accounts is a non-starter.

As someone who does still play it, albeit less than I used to, yeah missing friends makes a huge difference. Still solo friendly and worth dipping your toes in occasionally if you want to see new stuff though.

Yeah, fair enough. I’m just not sure there’s a ton they could do with a GW3 that they couldn’t do with GW2 expansions. New gameplay mechanics can be added in expansions (like gliding and mounts) and the elite specs are like new classes.

If they could harnest the modo game as a service of the moment (sad because gw2 was the exemple of a game as a service.

Guild wars 1 PvP was hands down the best MMO PvP I’ve ever played. I especially liked the mode where each class had a small subset of skills you had to choose from.

I would love to try this. But I would also like a PS5.
