This is the very thing that a lot of people hate and seem to be split on.

Man, what a bummer and awful situation.
Honestly, while I had a blast with permadeath in a game like Dungeons of Dredmor, there's no way I'm trying a hardcore character in Diablo III until they get the lag issues completely ironed out.
Yeah - I'm in the same boat in the US.
I completely agree with you hear. It's just a shame to see this happening.
Interesting - thanks for the info on that!
I'm out of town for another week, and thus have been playing the game on my laptop - specs here:
Bummer. I had a feeling this wouldn't be very good, due to the developer's past releases all being critically reamed. However, I had started to get my hopes up a little, after seeing the first gameplay video and getting a bit of a 'Dragon Age' vibe. It looks like that didn't happen, which is a shame.
Today was a lot better for me.
I feel genuinely bad for these folks. Sure, Amalur didn't have the most engaging story ever, but it was a fun game with solid voice acting and was quite pretty to look at.
I'm enjoying playing as the barbarian right now. I had a ton of lag and disconnect issues last night which were frustrating as all hell, but today it's seemed a lot better.
I'm starting to feel justified for my reddit post earlier that got downvoted into oblivion, after I joked, "I hope the number isn't in regard to the amount of errors..." - referring to today's earlier error 317002.
I can corroborate this.
Glorious work as always.
Oh gosh, so that's what that is.
I typically go for the sword wielding types.
Ha. Bravo.
Cyanide doesn't have a great track record, but I think this could actually be decent.
This is among my favorite things to happen this week.
